According to a recent Hinkie interview the Okafor pick is unrelated to Embiid's foot (don't think many will contest it was anything but a BPA pick) but Philly is bewildered by Joel's setback and don't see him in summerleague.

well yea cause no trade happened, the assets that could have made it happen weren't on the table from LA and now a couple are no longer in LA's possession. If you don't think that ownership/FO would have ok'd a Randle+Vucevic+Clarkson+Mario #27 trade if it were offered then you think far too highly of your incompetent front office.
