By IWMTB19 Go To PostDanny Green is a free agent and can't be traded and he's worth a top 7 pick as he's one of the best shooters and defenders in the league anyway. Thanks for the clarification.
Mario+Saric would be so much asshole, holy shit.
He's exactly what we need though.
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostSo....yea, David Aldridge didn't have a great mock draft last year....
Of course, the Jazz would love to bring Parker, a Mormon, to Salt Lake City – not just because he's a Mormon, but because he's a Mormon with mad game.I really can't stand listening to David Aldridge talk about basketball. He's supposed to be this big expert NBA TV always looks to but his analysis and understanding of the game almost always has me shaking my head.

In my last mock, I discussed a possible swap between the Kings and Denver Nuggets for Cousins. Today, there is news came that the Los Angeles Lakers are involved in three-way trade talks to acquire Cousins.
According to my sources, the Lakers are making Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson, and all of their assets available if they can pry away Cousins from the the Kings – who pick sixth. While the Magic have been linked to a possible deal it sounds as though any potential trade for Cousins will not happen before or during the NBA Draft. While Sacramento owner Vivek Ranadive has denied Cousins is available, I’m told that head coach George Karl and Vlade Divac are behind this and hope to overwhelm Ranadive with a package that is too great to pass up.
If the Sixers keep the pick, there is growing momentum towards Emmanuel Mudiay at 3, even over Russell or Okafor, which has to have Knicks President Phil Jackson salivating. The one concern from a Knicks standpoint is if Philly deals the pick to a team targeting Okafor or Russell.
According to several executives I spoke with, the Toronto Raptors are actively exploring trades for All-Star guard Kyle Lowry, former All-Star DeMar DeRozan and even Jonas Valanciunas, who is up for an extension this summer.
Two names in the later part of the NBA Lottery that are rising are Texas big man Myles Turner and Arizona SF Stanley Johnson who are both potentially joining the top-10. I’m told Turner has been a target of teams starting around pick 7 and should be gone by the time Utah picks at 12.
With the trade of Lance Stephenson, look for the Charlotte Hornets at No. 9 to target Kentucky guard
You may have noticed Porzingis linked with nearly every team. The 7-2 Latvian forward has been very good in workouts, and his game impresses a lot of executives. One team not currently in position to take Porzingis has him as the top prospect on their board. Right now, Porzingis’ range is 2-5 as I hear Magic GM Rob Hennigan has
scouted Porzingis four times in person.

I’m told by sources that the Lakers front office wants Russellover Okafor, and when polled, the majority of the front office supported this position.

Kado, please stop giving Sheridan clicks.
Basically, stop fucking drafting Euros with Top 10 picks.
Using win shares - an estimate of the number of wins a player contributes to his team - the numbers say that college players have been much more successful than international players when drafted in the lottery.

RT @WojYahooNBA: Sources: If Kevin Love goes forward with visits in July, expect Boston to sell him on pursuing group of Love, Robin Lopez and...Paul Pierce.
Barbosa is probably gone.
Warriors need a backup shooting guard to play beside Livingston when Klay and Steph both sit. Plus, there is no way the Warriors back court stays healthy like it did this season. I see Steph missing at least 10 games next season. Need a backup shooting guard OR someone to replace David Lee.
I hate Mo Buckets as a backup center. He's ok as a backup PF.

RT @WojYahooNBA: Opt-out sets up Love to sign extension w/ Cavs, but teams want crack at pitching him. Another suitor promising to be aggressive: Phoenix.

Would Portland try to get him if LMA leaves?
Probasketballdraft ‏@Probballdraft 1h Willie Cauley-Stein not medically cleared by Pacers medical staff. Have heard a few teams scared by his ankle.

Maybe I'm not paying too much attention this off-season like usual because I'm anticipating LMA leaving and RoLo joining Love in Boston. That'd be outright depressing and would catapult Portland into another rebuild, which I don't think I can stomach again. All of this because of injuries derailed an extremely promising season. The path to success is so shrewd in this league.
By reilo Go To PostRT @WojYahooNBA: Opt-out sets up Love to sign extension w/ Cavs, but teams want crack at pitching him. Another suitor promising to be aggressive: Phoenix.Damn here we go with another failed free agent pursuit
By Mamba Go To PostWhy would Love be enticed by RoLo and Pierce? What?Yeah.....
Was Woj being sarcastic?
By Mamba Go To PostWhy would Love be enticed by RoLo and Pierce? What?Because he's the pen-ultimate role player at the center position that plays defense and is useful offensively, too?

What happened to his ankle? I thought it was a foot fracture that was the main problem and his agent said that was all healed without any lingering symptoms.

If he falls out of the Top 10, some team will get away with robbery. You heard it here first.
RoLo + Love match up would be beneficial to Love, but the rest of the roster is just not very good.
They have assets to swing a trade maybe but it's far from guaranteed

Boston has a lot of dudes that are ok..but not great. Stevens would be the best coach Love has ever had tho. I don't know if he leaves for that tho unless he hates Bron that much or Bron wants him out that much.

I'm not knocking RoLo, but he's a role player. A good one. And Pierce is 57 years old. Boston has nothing else that matters.
Like, I get that he doesn't really like playing in Cleveland...but if I'm leaving Lebron and Kyrie, I'm not doing it for my 2nd and 3rd best players being RoLo and Pierce...
edit: Forgot about IT but point stands.

By knux-future Go To PostHe has bolts in his foot IIRC
Its in his ankle and the rumor is the plate was put in at a wrong angle. Plus he said he had sickle cell trait which could be a healthy risk if he is flying around a lot or playing in places like Denver and I think Utah.
Reports from LATimes beat writer that LA and Sac are back on the phones regarding Cousins trade....but the trade talks ain't happenin doe
I'm just crackin up at the thought of Boston trying to hype Kevin playing with a finished Paul Pierce.
David West is not exercising his player option and will be a UFA.
Pacers will have about $12 mil cap space if he leaves or they renounce his rights.

He's the same GM that offered Marcus Smart/16th and 28th for 76ers for Nerlens Noel, No. 3 pick.
worst gm.
By thekad Go To PostWhy did West turn down that money?Probably wants a 3-year deal.
By thekad Go To PostWhy did West turn down that money?Yeah, I'm pretty astounded he believes at 35 years old when the '15-'16 season starts that some other team will pay him that kind of money.
Why not go all out in a contract year so you can find one last short-term deal making bank when the TV money comes in?
Maybe the Pacers FO told him they're drafting Kaminsky. lol
I really wish Love would just opt in for one more go at it. If KD doesn't work out, he'd be an ideal alternative. Offense would go through Wall, but he'd be the first option for iso sets otherwise.
Shouldn't he be waiting another year before signing long term anyway for the cap raise?

Just by opting out and re-signing with Cavs for a 2 year deal (1 year opt out) gains him $2+ million.

Financially, made no sense not to opt out.

Clarkson Randle Okafor should be a entertaining offense only team.
Some ESPN "insider" was on the radio yesterday saying #2 + Randle is too high a cost for Boogie. Behind the scenes belief in Randle is real, scouts projecting him to be a 15-7 player out of the gate and a fringe all star soon if he stays healthy.
