Benfica losing at home to Moreirense, 1-3 with 55 minutes played. Benfica and Sporting could both lose their managers in less than a week.

I'm not completely against a super league. But it's too damn likely it's shit if it's all organized privately. Matches against/between big clubs are special because they are rare. I mean, even I didn't give much of a shit anymore when we played Real for the 10th time in 4 years in the CL. If it's just those clubs playing matches every week, this will become boring quickly.
And who knows what UEFA/FIFA is gonna do with players. They should still look to push the normal leagues, so maybe they will make it hard for the super league clubs to sign players from normal clubs. But well, knowing FIFA/UEFA, they will just gladly accept a share of the revenues and watch the football world die.
I actually think there could be a lot gained for football overall if you introduce a good super league. Make it US sport style with different divisions and include clubs from countries with shit leagues to give them a chance to compete with the big guys. It would be awesome to have clubs from the Netherlands, Belgium, Scotland, Scandinavia, Poland, Czech, etc back in the race for titles. But that's obviously not what the super league guys are trying to achieve and FIFA/UEFA is too dumb to introduce a good systems, so...

Quite nervous for later. Our biggest test so far (City and Chelsea don't count lol), we need to start well and not be shit in the first half like so many of the games this season.

Clubs that are already far beyond everyone in terms of infrastructure, money and influence should get even more?

They won't push the normal leagues, they won't help other clubs to get even close to them.
This league is just one thing. Getting more money for clubs that are already richer than the majority of their leagues.
Also this isn't about UEFA/Fifa, this was especially their OWN league system and not the one that Infantino wanted to push forward, that's another thing.
We're far beyond the point of being able to salvage the problems. Unless the UEFA/Fifa starts to implement systems like a salary cap and proper financial fair play, but that's not gonna happen as the UEFA/FIFA is the same corrupt shithouse.
At this point, the only thing we could hope for, would be some kind of intervention by the EU and local governments.

Like I said, I could see it working US sports style if we had an organization that could pull it off. Players can only be signed for the top clubs when they are 23/24 to not completely kill national leagues, introduce salary caps, divisions to avoid that we see all teams playing each other all the time, teams in countries that are not yet top clubs, introduce playoffs, etc. It could also benefit players by reducing the amount of matches they have to play each year but we'll obviously never see it happen with this FIFA/UEFA.
