By Hitch Go To PostReckon City are gonna run away with it again. Even if we get 90 points it won't be nearly enough. You can be the Napoli to Man City's Juve.
Another thing, good to keep the undefeated streak going, the next big test will be how Emery is able to set up tactical and man manage for back to back games against TOT and Man U.
By inky Go To PostThink it will come down to your H2H/Top 3 table games.Even there I expect City will have the beating of us. Really hope we don't end up just trying to keep the squad together and hoping for a season where we're not up against a juggernaut. Maybe De Bruyne's injury will lead to a surprise result for City, hasn't really happened yet though.
I thought we were quite fortunate to get a point if I'm honest. As usual, we disappeared for large portions of the game. I thought we looked more threatening in the first half with Miki and Auba - they linked up well with Laca. Iwobi is a good impact player to have, but we lose something in the midfield without Miki.
Emery has spoken of him as a first XI, so I'm not worried.

2 Ls in a tow for them coming
Bit disappointed nobody covered the space inside when Alisson was in no-man's land, the space to an open goal was obviously there as well-taken as it was. It's going to take a long, long time for Fabinho to get used to the league if it happens at all. Henderson's safe passing and negativity on the ball does my head in sometimes, but at least he gets his passes off and doesn't take touches that force him to lunge in.
By Bungie Go To PostA. Becker stayed on his line then Liverpool might have held onif he doesnt go laca just gets a 1v1 free against the keeper
Not too many good chances for Arsenal
theres situations where you cant really do much
By domino Go To Post2 Ls in a tow for them comingMate this is the Era of Emery. Could see a win against TOT and D against Man U.
Meus is the Anti Doicare. He says anything he can to undermine Arsenals perfomances, when Doicare does exactly the opposite lol
quite interesting to see
I agree with him about some of our performances this season, but today it was clearly our best and it was against the arguably best side in the league.

Whatever happened to Yurt? How's he getting on?

I love how they're checking every fucking dubious decision with VAR when we're involved, but can't be arsed with everyone else. The fate of villains, I suppose.

I hope Enrique never chooses him again.
By Zabojnik Go To PostBrilliant save by Ches there. What a keeper.Meanwhile:

By Pennywise Go To PostMeanwhile:If the shots were high percentage chances, surely the fault lies with the defensive structure and not the quality of Neuer. These stats are useless to a certain extent without context.

Goalkeeper stats are difficult because a goalkeeper playing for a shit team has to defend more bad shots for example
the weaker teams defend deep and the stronger team resorts to long range shots or the hopeful shot, meaning easier saves for the keeper
whereas a strong teams keeper would probably face 3 shots a game, but he'd usually be alone against 2-3 attackers in a counter attack
that expected goals stat that some people post here is probably the most accurate stat for judging keepers
