https://theathletic.com/588295/2018/10/14/jimmy-butler-glen-taylor-timberwolves-understanding-opener-tom-thibodeau-trade-request/
Three days before the start of the regular season, Taylor met with his disgruntled All-Star before practice, searching for some sort of understanding to calm the noise that has drowned out any sense of excitement for the upcoming season. In the meeting, Taylor and Butler came to an agreement, sources said: Taylor will continue to work diligently to find a trade as soon as possible. Until that happens, Butler will be a good teammate and play as hard as he always does. This is just staggering incompetence. Glen is worth billions of dollars, but unwilling to cut the check to send Thibs packing, so he's just gonna roll into the season with the status quo, with no trade or firings. I had no idea that Jimmy Butler would be the thing that finally breaks me.

Don't remember him bypassing Cho and Cliff to speak to MJ to demand a trade before hitting up Rachel Nicols for a primetime Chatty Patty special after humiliating his teammates
I just can't seem to understand the subtleties

Feel really bad for McCae. He is getting really bad advice and it has to be something more than over valuing his worth.
I will welcome him back if he gets right but I might be time to move on. Sad to see him go. Good player despite confidence issues and fact that the dude will never be strong.

Jimmy Butler is a team cancer. 100% about the money but everything would be fine if Wiggins never got the contract and Jimmy stopped being a thot.

Think he just picked the wrong off season to go for a 5M/y contract.

Warriors beat writers alluded to McCaw getting bad advice. I think their offer was $4mill/2 years. Given the fall last year and his play I understand why they didn't offer more. There should be plenty of opportunity for him this year with players resting, Shaun and Andre getting old and Nick Young being gone. Hope they sort it out.

We have a pretty ideal situation for him money/playing time wise. You are going to have a hard time getting something better elsewhere in the range of 18-20 minutes a game and 5m/2y for a guarantee and development.
Where else is he going to go to get more time and make more money. He could be a starter in the future but he is only in his 3rd year and isn’t at that potential yet. Reason he fell to the second round in the draft was because of those confidence and strength issues to be a full time starter.
Maybe it’s bad advice maybe it is PTSD from the Vince Carter spinal injury I just hope he gets out right. The team seems concerned about him, at least that is what Marcus Thompson says.
regular season starts tomorrow y'all!

It takes more effort to hate LeBron and there's no good reason to. Dude is amazing on and off the court.

Most fisher-esque response. Only thing more fisher would have been a flop post

Jamal was not good for the Wolves locker room last year. Dude still thinks he can go out there and put up 20 every night.
