Why wouldn't I?

Possible but I think psy is right for once
I reported last Wednesday that the Wolves and Miami Heat had progressed to an advanced stage of negotiations before the talks were derailed when Minnesota tried to tweak the trade construction. On Sunday morning, ESPN reported that it happened again — after the parties got sufficiently deep into trade discussions that the teams had exchanged medical information for the players involved.
That the talks collapsed twice in such a short span should be surprising to no one who has followed the Wolves throughout Taylor's quarter-century of ownership. The same Taylor who held onto Kevin Garnett and then-General Manager Kevin McHale for too long. Who allowed himself to be talked into hiring the thoroughly ill-prepared David Kahn as McHale's replacement. Who could have escaped his Butler nightmare by accepting a package from Miami that would have been headlined by the promising Heat swingman Josh Richardson and a protected first-round pick.
Minnesota really can’t hope to do better under these dire circumstances, which stem from Butler's declaration just days before training camp that he would not be re-signing with the Wolves in July as a free agent.
Yet Taylor balked. And then balked again.
A common refrain in league circles these days holds that it’s the Wolves’ coach and team president, Tom Thibodeau, who is slow-playing or outright sabotaging trade talks because he can’t bear to surrender his former Chicago Bulls cornerstone. It’s believed that Thibodeau would welcome Butler back to the team unconditionally, even though Butler can walk away from the Wolves without compensation for the team if he’s not dealt before the Feb. 7 trade deadline — and no matter how uncomfortable that may make things for the two young Minnesota stars (Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins) whose chilly relationships with Butler are said to be a key reason Butler wants to leave.https://static.nytimes.com/email-content/MSB_6460.html?nlid=60638453
Thibodeau and his general manager, Scott Layden, will also ultimately have to answer for their inability to probe harder and sooner for the depths of Butler’s discontent — if you wish to believe Thibodeau’s claims that the Wolves were legitimately unaware of how badly he wanted out until his Sept. 18 trade request.
The reality, though, is that none of that could happen if Taylor didn’t allow it to happen.

that's a huge get for them
Philadelphia 76ers All-Star center Joel Embiid is signing with Under Armour, sources told Yahoo Sports, with the endorsement deal expected to be finalized Wednesday. Embiid appears ready to test the theory that the NBA’s tallest stars can’t sell shoes.
that's a huge get for them
I really hope Murray can take the next step as a PG, specially after watching Morris being able to find the mismatch and actually give a good entry pass.

Scola looks like Scott Hall

Him flicking a toothpick at his man in the jump ball circle sure seems like gimmick infringement, though.

Everyone else on that team besides Scola was horrifically shook as soon as they touched the ball on offense though

Somewhat disappointed after I googled that you did not mean literally at the same time.

Man, the league keeps making up shit so as to not call Harden for anything.
By Pac-12 Go To PostSomewhat disappointed after I googled that you did not mean literally at the same time.is that even physically possible?
NBA Official: "It's not illegal for James Harden to murder someone in the middle of fifth avenue. See: Donald Trump. QED."

Literal literal? Sure. Need droppers, though.
Approximately literal is what I was going for. Two girls at the same time. Something a guy with a million dollars could do.

The explanation would have been better had they just said he "teleported to the spot he shot from"
that's a travel and if you did that at the park and tried to play it off like it wasnt then you'd probably get into a fight.
By Omzz Go To PostHe's playing out his contract while still requesting a trade.
Wtf is going on lol
The Wolves could get something for Jimmy Butler but are opting to get nothing because the coach and GM wants to win more games and has no future with the team anyway. Glen Taylor is bad at owning an NBA team.

It's all fine.
Apparently Jimmy heated over not going to Houston among other things. Why wouldn't Houston accept that package, that seemed fair.

granted, that's probably all that the Wolves can get for a trade at this point, anyway

Right, but... Why didn't the Rockets accept?
I guess their theory is adding another iso superstar probably wouldn't help that much when they have Harden and CP3 and they don't need another super high strung guy along with CP3, but they should have still taken the deal.
By IWMTB19 Go To PostRight, but… Why didn't the Rockets accept?Didn't want to give up PJ Tucker... he is the key piece holding the Rockets together.
