By Kibner Go To Postbut he also picked Chriss to begin withAnd Bender in the same draft. Conspiracy theory - sarver loved dragic, maybe he comes back
By Kibner Go To Postbut he also picked Chriss to begin withTo be fair that draft was all kinds of ass. And it wasn't like he could take Murray either.
If the Suns were having doubts about the GM, why did they let him rule over this entire off-season for no reason? Now they gotta pay Ryan Anderson for two years.

Well, maybe they had belief in Josh Jackson's jumpshot and Dragan Bender that has been dashed by training camp and preseason.
Biggest need since last year when Bledsoe requested a trade was the PG position and all he does this off season is draft two small forwards, sign another for 15 milli. And get two rookies. I’d fire McD too after watching that last preseason game
I don't know the last time I ever visited The Ringer. Their written content doesn't really do anything for me. I assume most of it is bad, heat of the moment, disposable hot takes.
I need that Simmons/Russillo NBA podcast asap, though.

Kevin O'Connor is fine. Sometimes he is just an extension of NBA-Reddit but thats ok.
Nothing in that tweet is outrageous.

By Red Blaster Go To Postthe grizzlies and mavs are fighting for a playoff spot? lakers are locked? There are levels to it. IMO only the Warriors and Rockets are locks.
I won't be shocked if the Mavs and Grizzlies are fighting for a playoff spot at all.
The Mavs can fight for a playoff spot if DSJ and Doncic are near all-star level this year.
The Grizzlies need huge seasons from Gasol and Conley though and that could be hard...

The Mavs can fight for a playoff spot if Doncic is really good, DSJ takes a big step, and DeAndre is as good as some people think he is (i don't).
I sure wouldn't put them on the same level as a team like the Blazers though.
I sure wouldn't put them on the same level as a team like the Blazers though.
The argument for the Grizzlies:
+They were intentionally losing in one of the most blatant tanks in NBA history and weren't as bad as their record (probably worth 5 wins honestly)
+Conley was out for the entire season (maybe getting him back will be worth 8-10 wins?)
Argument against:
-Their only two great players are Marc Gasol (34 in three months) and Conley (coming off a big injury)
-JJJ will be elite but he's not close to ready
-Their best non-Gasol, non-Conley player is Kyle Anderson.

By DY_nasty Go To PostPortland had homecourt last year.
An opportunity they did not let go to waste.

Interesting stuff, players really hated McD though so it’s for the best. Dumb timing, but i’d rather see David Griffin in that spot

Horrible news
By giririsss Go To Postkieff hates everyoneNaw he really hates old boy for breaking him and his brother up... He took less money too, in order to stay together..
By Doncicic Go To PostTwo Doncic games and Suns GM had to go for not picking him. That's how good this guy is.That joke might had worked if it was the Kings GM getting fired..
By blackace Go To PostNaw he really hates old boy for breaking him and his brother up… He took less money too, in order to stay together..I know. But really, Kieff hates everyone anyway. That would be his reaction regardless.
Best joke answer i've seen is
"Sarver had to sign Andersons first pay slip"
Kieff is an asshole, but you have Dragic, Bledsoe, and others that have all wanted out and had ugly exits.
By pkaz01 Go To PostKieff is an asshole, but you have Dragic, Bledsoe, and others that have all wanted out and had ugly exits.Bledsoe seems like an idiot regardless.
Dragic is the one i'm still sore over losing.
It's hard to go too all in on his draft picks (Bender & Chriss look bad now, but he got highly praised for that draft).
But his trades have been abysmal.
Though, in reality, it seems like there will be something else at the heart of it, with all the others being let go.
And you got woj out there saying Sarver is so involved, and continually changes the plan on GM's, that it's hard to get top candidates to interview. That's the real tragedy.
