I mean I get they are mad but it's ANDREW LUCK! Indy is done playing.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostAre Colts fans usually cunts or is this a one off?tbf, they got blindsided in a really shitty way. he got off light
Not surprising. League has been going to shit for a while now and why I only follow it casually. The amount of rosters that get decimated by injury year in and out really takes the joy out of it --to say nothing of the shit state of the refereeing.
If you don't invest into protecting your big-money/impact players, don't be upset when they aren't able to play as long or as well as you'd like.
Better vid of the booing
Luck got the bag too
Luck got the bag too
The Colts have reached a financial settlement with retired QB Andrew Luck.something about that rubs me the wrong way.
The Colts could have recouped $24.8 million from Luck—a prorated $12.8 million from his signing bonus and another $12 million in roster bonuses—but instead the team is letting him keep it all. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the settlement was reached last week, suggesting the Colts have known Luck was retiring for some time. It's a nice gesture by the Colts and one that wasn't afforded to Calvin Johnson and Barry Sanders when they retired early. Luck is leaving $58.1 million in salary on the table by calling it quits, but said injuries had taken the joy out of playing. Twenty nine with a degree in architectural design from Stanford, we're excited see what's next for Luck now that his playing days are over.

Bills released RB LeSean McCoy.They said they were keeping him all camp. That's just kinda...
The Bills had stated numerous times all offseason they were committed to McCoy despite the obvious writing on the wall. McCoy, 31, was headed into the final year of his deal, and the move clears $6.425 million in cap space for Buffalo. It makes total sense after the signing of Frank Gore in the offseason and subsequent selection of Devin Singletary in the draft. This is a Gore-Singletary backfield now, skyrocketing Singletary up the fantasy ranks. McCoy should land on his feet, but he's obviously running out of gas and on the wrong side of 30. Perhaps the Bucs or Texans will make a call. McCoy spent the last four years in Buffalo, compiling an 885-3,814-25 rushing line with a pair of 1,000-yard campaigns.
shady...
Seahawks acquired DE Jadeveon Clowney from the Texans. That's a terrible job by Houston, couldn't get a RB or OL help.
The Houston Chronicle, which has been all over the story, reports the Seahawks are sending a third-round pick and "two players" the Texans' way. The Texans had been expected to acquire an offensive lineman or two, but The Athletic reports both players are linebackers. It's a massive admission of defeat from the Texans after they had been zeroed in on Dolphins LT Laremy Tunsil. As for the Seahawks, it's a coup for a defensive line that desperately needed one. Pete Carroll's front seven will now have a little juice as it waits for DT Jarran Reed to return from his six-game suspension.
Redskins waived WR Josh Doctson.Washington
The Redskins could still trade Doctson ahead of 4 PM ET, though it's doubtful he'd attract much interest. Drafted 22nd overall in 2016, the former TCU standout never panned out in Washington, averaging a tepid 33.3 yards per game with eight touchdowns over 33 appearances for the 'Skins. Set to turn 27 in December, if Doctson was going to break out, it probably would have happened by now. With Doctson out of the mix, Washington will turn to Paul Richardson, Trey Quinn and tight end Jordan Reed as their primary pass-catchers.
Hey guys, we have an active FF league drafting tomorrow. If any of you are interested post in the thread or PM me. Buy in is $90 via Paypal but I can wait on payment a bit if needed.
YO WHAT THE FUCK??
Texans acquired LT Laremy Tunsil and WR Kenny Stills from the Dolphins.
Unreal. There was a report earlier this week saying Miami players would "revolt" if the team traded Tunsil. Well, it's happening. This is a massive get for the Texans, who badly needed help up front on their offensive line after running Julie'n Davenport out there at left tackle a year ago only to see Deshaun Watson sacked a league-high 61 times. Houston was planning to turn to washed-up veteran Matt Kalil before this deal. Tunsil is under contract for two more seasons and figures to be a building block in Houston. As for Miami, who knows what in the world they plan to do on the offensive line. The Dolphins are in tank mode.
With second-year pro Keke Coutee once again battling injury, Stills will immediately slot in as the No. 3 wideout behind DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller. Considering Fuller's injury history, Stills could be the No. 2 before long. A versatile player capable of hitting home runs, Stills has long deserved a bigger role, though on paper that is not something he will be getting in Houston. He will be part of a dynamic offense for the first time since he was in New Orleans, however.
Dolphins acquired OT Julie'n Davenport, DB Johnson Bademosi, two first-round picks, and a second-round pick from the Texans in exchange for LT Laremy Tunsil, WR Kenny Stills, and a fourth-round pick.
Davenport was a fourth-round pick in 2017 and was tasked with being Deshaun Watson's blindside protector last season. It did not go well, as Watson was sacked a league-high 61 times. Davenport graded out as Pro Football Focus' second-worst tackle out of 80 qualifiers. Davenport is a mere project for the tanking Dolphins; the real gets here are the three early picks. Miami is now strapped with a pair of first-rounders in each of the next two drafts and a whopping four second-rounders each in 2020 and 2021. The Dolphins are on the right path; they just need to stick to it.

Cowboys signed Ezekiel Elliott to a six-year, $90 million contract extension.Stunned Cowboys blinked this early. Usually takes Jerrah 2 games.
The deal includes a whopping $50 million guaranteed. Zeke's $15 million annually not only surpasses Todd Gurley's previous league-high mark of $14.375 million per year, it officially makes the 24-year-old Cowboys star the league's all-time highest-paid runner and ties him to Dallas through the 2026 season. Archer reports Elliott will be on the field practicing Wednesday, but there's been no word on any limitations or timeshare as he settles back in post-Cabo holdout. Assuming he's good to go for Sunday, Elliott is a clear-cut top-five fantasy option in Dallas' season opener against the Giants.
