Hokkaido Earthquake 7 Magnitude
7 - Abira
6+ - Chitose
5+ - Sapporo Kita-ku, Eniwa, Ebetsu, Tomokamai
5 - Muroran, Iwamizawa, Hakodate, Noboribetsu, Kitahiroshima, Nanporo, Date
4 - Sapporo Chuo-ku, Takikawa, Kushiro, Otaro
3 - Sapporo Minami-ku, Aomori
Not fun waking up to a 4.0 at 03:00 this morning... Blackouts, no water, spotty service right now. Infrastructure here in Toyohira is fine for the most part besides cracks and flipped cars. Looks like outer parts of the city like Kiyota have it bad.
Chitose has a lot of damage and there are landslides out in the more rural areas.
Everyone's been heading to local parks for water, gas station, conbini to stock up throughout the morning when aftershocks over.
Wife got us prepared.
Visiting parents now...

Spend the day meeting with our parents and cleaning the mess at home. Work as usual tomorrow.
Our neighborhood has electricity and network about 1 hour ago, and so does half of Sapporo besides out in Minami, Kita/Higashi, and Kiyota. Still no water besides the usual designated areas. Went to yokujo with the family to bathe. Neighborhood mothers are making curry and some snacks in case anyone did not get enough emergency supplies.
Looks pretty bad in Chitose right now and it doesn't seem like electricity will come back today for them. They have a pretty big international community there, Filipino too.
The rural areas have it worst and I hope that disaster relief can help them as soon and fast as possible.
Everyone go invest in 緊急持出袋
