Watched the first half of the United game last night before passing out. Some thoughts:
- Sanchez looks really fresh. Probably been noticeable up to this point but it’s the first time where I watched him and thought “oh, that’s the guy they signed from Arsenal”
- AP44 is basically a Suso-tier foetus except I don’t think he’ll even reach the consistent levels that Suso has for Milan. He’s technically good and has a solid medium passing range. That’s fine but it’s not going to get you into Mourinho’s United. He leaves permanently next summer after little minutes this season.
- Dont buy the Vinicius hype, for as many flicks and tricks that came off there were heavy touches, bad skills and rash passes. He’s so raw at this stage and nowhere near the quality of Real Madrid.
- If Real Madrid don’t buy an attacking player to help the team claw back some of the attacking threat of Ronaldo then they’re truly in for a shit season
- Luke Shaw looked fat and leggy, tbh
