It's crazy the depth City has. They looked like they were losing focus for a bit back then, so Guardiola just subbed in KdB to give a boost.
Fucking hell. The amount of good decision makers that team has is crazy.

Walker is very fast and gets into tight spaces with ease, but he's still got a pea-sized brain. Only a matter of time before he concedes a penalty and/or gets a red card. Same player which played for Tottenham and plays for England.

Sterling got way better though, and Bernardo Silva. Those are two players that for me got on a different level once they were in City.
By Flutter Go To PostAuba, Ozil, Mkhi, people you thought would carry the team looked shit.Aside from his bizarre almost own goal I thought he was very good. Great save on the Mahrez FK and Laporte follow up. Had a few other quality stops. Absolutely no saving either goal.
Guendouzi was too, but this is his first EPL match, against City at that. He will probably learn not to be so awed next time.
Cech is past it.
Other than his mistake on Sterling’s goal, I thought Guendouzi had a nice game. He was everywhere. Definitely impressed me for his first game in the PL at 19.
Think Walker is the best RB by a distance in the PL. Helped by the managers set up.
Mendy was very good too.

The problem with Cech is he cant play with his feet, and Uny wants our keeper to use them. He was pretty good shot stopper, but his bad footwork invited a lot of pressure from City because of how unconfortable he is with the ball.

i don't know why, but this turns me on slightly.
imagine denis vavro carrying you like that. all the cummies.

Not a great game from us but, hey, 3 points.

West Ham started with Noble and Rice in defensive midfield? Pellegrino is off his tits.
Meanwhile, Reece Oxford is rotting away in the reserves...

but then again, this is arsenal. looked like they were finally getting into it only to lose the game instantly.
some things will never change, tupac once said.

i think guendozi will come good, but it was a silly idea to throw him against one of the best teams in the world on his first competitive top tier game, let him play the cups for now.
cech on the other hand is a keeper who cant play with his feet while emery seems to have given direct instructions to play from deep and recycle posession quickly. its time for the cushy Sky Sports pundit job

Probably realises how hard he has to work now to reach that level of composure and consistency, the potential is there, but its there for many players
