Yes companions!

What character are you guys gonna roll? Any ideas yet? I'm almost set on rogue, but might change my mind and play as a monk, since they're apparently pretty damn badass. Definitely one of the classes that's not covered by the companions though (the last of those being the barbarian).

I always roll a character, play for a few hours then decide i don't like it and reroll a new game lol. 

I'll look up the companions and see what's missing so i can fill the gap myself.

Wow at those bloodbourne stream and vids, incredible. Cannot wait to get started. Boss fights look pretty easy from what I've seen (I doubt I'll feel like that playing it though)

So Bloodborne has been fun. Using Military Veteran, how should I build my stats?

I've gone for that starting build too, think I'm gonna pump some echoes into Vit/Endurance and then a choice of Str/Skil(dex from DS).

Started off with the axe and the first pistol. It seems like something has clicked with me and Bloodborne, I much prefer it to DS I can already tell. Maybe it's because the healing items drop more often so there is less risk involved I'm not saying that makes it easy cause the game is still difficult at times. Maybe it's the combat system seems more fluid than DS how you can chain a heavy attack into a light attack into expanding your weapon.

Just beat the first boss, what a glorious fight.
