United is looking rather good to be honest. Still needs more decision makers but the attacking and passing in the final third is much smoother. That's actual width in the attacks too.
Luke Shaw is Ox Arsenal tier. Great at pushing foward, doing well tracking back but most of his crosses are blocked easily. At least he's doing better than the last 2 games. Pereira is playing safer, but does some really good passes. Mata and Sanchez linking very well.

Really disappointed with the whole Martial debacle, but in fairness to the club we offered him contract after contract and the higher ups expressed a desire to keep him.
Fault still lies with Mou that he let it get this far.
But I am content that the club did all it could to keep him.

Andreas Pereira is receiving more praise for his performances in pre season. If he's ever going to make it at United it needs to be this year.
By Flutter Go To PostSanchez is in a really good form. This is the first summer he hasn't had to go and play an international tournament in years so he'll probably be a lot fitter at the start of the season than he ever was for us.
Darmian to Inter / Napoli, Sturaro to Atalanta and that's it for me. Transfer season closed.

It could've only ended this way. I rate Martial, but I'd look elsewhere first. Ain't nobody got time.

Yeah, I get that, he still needs to mature. He might go to fulfill his potential elsewhere but he'll find the grass to not be as green.
But that debut goal against Liverpool is one of my favourite footballing memories, it didn't have to end this way.

If Pereira doesn't get a fair crack this season I'll be fumin
Bet if we had a new £50m midfield signing performing like he has been so far we'd be wanking ourselves silly

By Cleff Go To PostAndreas Pereira is receiving more praise for his performances in pre season. If he's ever going to make it at United it needs to be this year.He was much better than the last match, when he was a little guilty of trying too many killer passes into the final third. Says that Carrick is working with him in that regard though, and it shows. Much more mature passing, with those killer passes making more impact.
Hopefully Mou plays him and Fred a little deeper than Matic and Pogba this season, with him deputising of course.
Mou looking resigned with having Shaw as his second RB this season. Encouraged him than trying to chastise him when he made mistakes. Who knows how long that will last though.
Maybe some people will disagree with me on this... but one of the main reasons why we were better is because Sanchez was playing in Martial's position. He was more open to run, doesn't take a second to hold the ball and kept it going. It's something Martial has to work in his next club. Maybe emulate Hazard, who is the best in that regard.
Here's what I think our team will look like:
--------------------------------- De Gea/Romero --------------------------------
Valencia/Dalot - Bailly/Smalling - Lindelof/Jones - Young/Shaw
------------------------------------Fred/Pereira------------------------------------

I live for this game.
I need that Egyptian PEDs.

Sane’s goal was very good too. Be an interesting battle between the pair of them next season. I think our midfield will take inspiration from the De Bryune/Silva double 8 system and I think Sane will adapt his game in light of Salah’s success.

Last night I dreamt of Shaqiri playing for Liverpool but the pitch was like an abandoned scrap yard, so he was having to scoop the ball over shrapnel and chassis parts whilst evading defenders. Bizarre, but somehow reassured me he’ll be a good signing.

Spurs B pumped Roma B last night, but the last time we fucked up Roma preseason, we went on the get 2 points from our first 8 games
I love Mourinho’s comments about Liverpool spending. Because we just hate to be reminded that we signed 5 good players this year. In terms of net spend we’re still far below United, Arsenal, City, the whole lot other than Spurs. Klopp’s transfers have been a good use of [Barcelona’s] money.

Although he threw in a remark that you guys have to win the title this season and I expect that from him.
To paraphrase a tweet I saw, it'll be 2032 and Liverpool fans will still be claiming they're spending the Coutinho money.
Milan Badelj is apparently being presented on Saturday during our match with Marseille.
Would be quite the signing for us.

By Zabojnik Go To PostWhat so special about her compared to dozens of other similarly stunning women in her field of work in Italy?
Not a lot do it for me, but then I was watching Fabio Rovazzi’s new video and thought she looked good. Didn’t know she was in footy.
Not mad on Italian women on TV, a lot look they have a bit too much work done. But she blew me away.
By Flutter Go To PostMiguel Delaney is something else this season.
Lmao, Spurs were in the bottom half of the table when they hired him. Nothing brave about that Gross. Spurs might be in the top six now, but Everton have just as much claim to rounding out the big six over the past twenty years than Spura lol. Comparing Chelsea and Spurs is just crazy.
