Fucking hell people will write and believe anything. Zero chance mourinho had an issue with him attending a childbirth
By Laboured Go To PostBoth played for mid-table teams and had decent half seasons. So it's looking highly comparable atm. They’re in a completely different spectrum of defender. Quite obviously.
I also think Toby from Spurs is a much better purchase at a cheaper price. But big money English CB is very Manchester United.
A bit sad we won’t get to see Keita and Mane/Salah on the same pitch, but I guess we can’t complain when you see City’s team.
By batong Go To PostHow's central line nowadays, Bungie lad?
Like being in Kyoufu’s games room a week after the launch of Dragon Saga XVII Ultimate 4
I reckon Maguire is actually really quite good
But it seems like we only decided we want him like 2 days ago
This is not good

By Bungie Go To PostAlderweireld straight swap for MartialGiz Kane instead.
let’s do it
We'll get Maguire and the dream of Fellaini, Maguire, Smalling and Lukaku on corners. PL Champions 2018/19.
By Vivalapizza Go To PostI reckon Maguire is actually really quite goodHe's decent on the ball and has height. Just not very quick. Looks like we're buying based on World cup performances.

Interested to see how Mou finally crumbles at a club this time. Madrid should be managerless by the time he leaves United.

By Bungie Go To PostImagine the furore if Martial comes Tottenham and fulfills his potentialProbably will at his next club
Maguire is good. He’s just slow and doesn’t have amazing distribution.
To Viva’s point the big issue is a club the size of United watching the World Cup to inform their transfer strategy. Especially bad considering Maguire was excellent against United last season.

Benfica dominating Dortmund. Toprak seems a bit shit.
Edit: First time I saw Dortmund attack and they score.

By LFMartins86 Go To PostSecond Dortmund attack, second goal. That pass was freaking gorgeous.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostThat was dirty as fuck.Van Dijk or something in the Dortmund game? City have suffered some ugly fouls in the friendlies so far unfortunately.

By FermentedFungi Go To Posthttps://instagram.com/p/BlrA9R2jZw2/Neymar with dat Cristiano-level of infatuation with his own dribbling skills. Had to leave Barça to stand out from Messi; and you watch a clip like this and realize he's not even one fifth the trickster Ronaldinho was. Forever <.
By FermentedFungi Go To Postreminds me of a lad i once played with, he just kept dribbling in place while I stood watching, then he fell on his ass and sent the ball into his own net.
i could only wish neymar did the same one day.
Decent half. Couple of really good attacks that ended up with nothing, but were good regardless.
Weak points as expected.

Harry Maguire has been consistently good with Leicester. Hell, he was good against us and even managed to score the last minute equaliser.
Don't think United is interested in him solely for the WC display when they have tons of data on him since he plays in the EPL.

By Arnie Go To PostMaguire is good. He’s just slow and doesn’t have amazing distribution.Think his distribution is fine for a CB compared to what we have. Seems confident on the ball and happy to come out with it. Just a question of if Mou wants that from his CBs.

By LFMartins86 Go To PostThought you looked shaky on the back.Yeah our RB Toljan is shaky, that's why we signed Hakimi from Real as replacement option in case Piszcek is injured or needs a break.
Also, who is this Phillip guy?
Sahin/Dahoud/Götze as central midfield is a weak point, as there is no pace or strength. Götze was great going forward, but he's no DM and Sahin is just too slow these days.
Phillip was signed last year. A winger who scored 9 goals and 3 assists, despite being injured for a longer strech. Was a good signing and is among the candidates to replace a striker until we've got someone decent.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostBenfica drew, Alfa Semedo scored. Dortmund won against City? How? They've looked terrible.Pep is a fraud

It's a preseason game. Pool, Dortmund and City were still missing WC players. Besides the managers tend to try out different formations, and now we've got nearly only fetus players on.
