By batong Go To PostWhat constitutes a good hug, FF?Just a hint of a semi to assert your masculinity.
Imagine if we hadn't signed Alisson
I don't have a clue who else we'd have tried signing, and a choice of Karius, Mignolet and Ward would have been a nightmare. Expectations given his transfer fee are very high, but he could limbo dance under the bar that's been set for him to be a significant improvement over that lot.

Henry is a master of the last one
Light friendly one arm hug while whispering nonsense into the persons ear, it looks like he is doing something, but both he and the player are the only ones that know he is saying and doing nothing.
By Hitch Go To PostImagine if we hadn't signed AlissonI’m still in a state of delirious relief that I don’t have to worry about Mignolet or Karius ever again. Well, at least once the season begins.

I know our window is basically done but I’m still a bit disappointed to miss out on Fekir. I guess his knee just wasn’t right.
That interview with Mourinho on ESPN is mad. Saying Pogba plays well for France because he is better at focusing for a month-long tournament than the Premier League.
If I was Pogba reading that in LA I would not want to come back and play for him.

Cannot wait for him to fuck off.
By Bungie Go To PostIf Allison doesn’t get off to a good start tho 😈True, and everyone will want him to. All keepers make mistakes, it’s part of the job.
But even if it’s Alisson making mistakes I’d take that over someone who literally rolled a football to Benzema’s foot in the biggest match of his career.
By n8 dogg Go To PostCannot wait for him to fuck off.I’m at the point where I’m enjoying him almost as much as Moyes, even if you’re performing at a higher level. I think it’d be so simple for a really good coach to win big things with that United squad.

It’s just so fucking typical of him to watch a player that he has struggled to get the best out of win the World Cup with what was arguably a MOTM performance in almost every fuckin’ game and, instead of learning from it, decide to rail against him instead.
Fed up of his ego working against the club rather than for it. He’s never managed to build that mentality like he did at either spell at Chelsea, or Inter, or that second season at Madrid. We’re two years in already and things are just getting worse.
He’s not a manager people want to play for anymore like Klopp or Poch or Pep; he’s outdated in his tactics; he regularly shuns youth and promise and excitement in place of things to boost his CV rather than the memories and experiences of fans.
At least Moyes and van Gaal were funny. He’s just a miserable fucking goon.

Might be harder to judge someone that has was it takes to take the step from good to world class.
Overall I think it's among the easiest positions to find a decent player for.

By Hitch Go To PostTorreira will be the signing of the summerHe's so damn good

By Hitch Go To PostThat's probably what you said when we signed Karius innitNah, I said he was a talented lad.
Obviously went to shit when he hardly played and his confidence got busted with mistakes.
Mignolet also being shit and fans being eager for the next mistake didn't help.
Think Karius would become good again with a smaller club and a calm enviroment. Doesn't change that you can find a decent keeper relatively easy, unlike a great striker or LB/RB for example.

I think Jorginho or Keita will be the signings of the summer though.

Sell Martial first though

Almost gutted Jorginho didn’t go to City so he can up their aesthetics even further.
Almost.

Torreira is so much like Joe Allen, and I don’t mean that in a bad way , though he may end up with the same trajectory in the long term
By Hitch Go To PostReckon he might have transformative grinta based on the world cupSounds like a disease.
By Laboured Go To PostFor all the bitching I'm massively looking forward to Fred. Think he'll be dead good.
Really don’t know enough about him tbh. Most important thing is getting the most out of Pogba this year, so hopefully he helps in that regard.
By Laboured Go To PostFWIW The Independent have pretty much not got a single transfer story right.
By Oddinho Go To PostRebic had a great World Cup.He is otherwise a nothing player though.
Rebic and Maguire would be the biggest case of buying off world cup performances since Diao and Diouf
Look at the a amount of fun & freedom Utd players had at the World Cup and now Man Utd Sla&ent have to watch these same players under Mou.
By Vivalapizza Go To PostMourinho is now at that stage where he wants to get sacked
I think Fred will be really exciting. I don’t know anything about him really, I base my expectations on what I think United need, which is energy, speed and a bit of hubris.
By Mangoverboard Go To PostWho do United fans want instead of Mou?Pocket Tuna, innit.
Wenger?
I'd like to see United try what England did in the World Cup. Pick a midfield high on soeed and mobility to overwhelm the opposition. A Pogba, Fred, Lingard trio could work well. I like Matic but it's clear he doesn't have the legs to play a more expansive role than his current holding one.

I just really really really want Mourinho to fuck off
I don't care what happens afterward
I feel sick just looking at him

Which is weird because outside of transfer reporting they are probably the best football National about at the moment.

That midfield would get ran through and culo blasted like Riley Reid
