By DerZuhälter Go To PostNah. This is great. He is going out guns blazing giving the finger to everyone. He just needs to state that winning the world cup isnt worth all this shit right now, and he'll be a historical exclamation mark for the DFB youth teams to pick any other national football federation if given the choice.Well yeah, after the whole Bierhoff/Grindel thing, I guess I would have done something similar.
Let the DFB choke on some of Paolo Rink's or Sean Dundee's kids, for all I care.
Allthough being specific. Calling out Bild, calling out Matthäus (who shaked hands with Putin not too long ago), calling out Bierhoff and Grindel (so much for all those anti racism campaigns).
Kicker confirming that Dortmund is interested in Witsel.
I wonder what they're planning to do.

I'll repost this lil' bit I said in the petition thread, I think Disney jumped at the chance to fire Gunn.
If I'm really being conspiratorial. I think Gunn was fired BECAUSE he is so anti-Trump. The dude tweets nearly every day about Trump being a terrible asshat. And, I think Disney hates that because it means potentially losing Trump fans who will pay to see those movies. There are plenty of other directors who are anti-Trump on the Disney payroll, but most are not so active in tweeting against him. They'll, at most, "like" a post by someone else disparaging Trump or "retweet" some nice message. But few are actual tweeting against Trump every single day. And, as I said, I think that's the reason they were so eager to rid of him. They want a nice, safe director who will keep their mouth shut and draw the largest crowd, including Trump supporters.
Oh Özil posted even more.
Some really well articulated thoughts.
Stepping back from the national team as well.
Well done lad. It's on fucking point!
Would have been perfect with a bit of self criticism before, but overall it's really on point.

By Vivalapizza Go To PostVery well said.
Western sports media might actually be more hypocritical than the political media.
It won't matter. He'll still be a man of Turkish descent in Europe, and that's enough for derision and bigotry.
I like Maguire, and would have taken him before Leicester signed him, but for the price now after the World Cup... I don't know.
By n8 dogg Go To PostGood lad, Ozil. Great posts.Except for the part where he said that the meeting had no political meaning.
Maybe for him, but when you meet someone like Erdogan and his party uses it, it's political.
When you meet someone like him, you don't have to be suprised that there are negative reactions.
Also generalising the media instead of naming those that participated in the witch hunt.
The rest is spot on. The attack on the FA, the double standards towards immigrants like Podolski and Klose that never endured the shit he has to, part of the media. Fucking embarassing FA and sponsors.

Don't like these Maguire links at all.
£65m minimum for a decent defender is crazy. The argument is that that's just the state of transfer market these days. But there must be players of a similar quality that are going for less.

This entire window and next 6 months are a write off anyway. We don't know who we want, same back 4 as last season, Woody is making footballing decisions - Christ. Genuinely can't wait for this season to end, already.

By Vivalapizza Go To PostGiven we've played a big part in inflating the market…who cares?Just think we could spend a little bit more and come out with a good full back and centre half rather than 1 good cb.

There's definitely a possibility of this season being a write off before it even begins. Mourinho is already moaning and there's a management dispute over Martial. Lovely.
Still looking forward to the season however. We've some players coming off the back of very impressive world cup displays. Always the chance they continue that into the domestic season.
