By Lunatic Go To PostYea it's weird how both the Madrid and Barca fans think everyone is against them. Then they come here where us premfaces find its weird how their sides are incapable of criticism.
I can take banter. Sometimes some of the remarks here do sting a little and I question "why should I bother". Maybe I am a snowflake or maybe like on this page, this happens
Most of Madrid fans are right wing nutjobs tho. Fuck em.
By rossonero Go To PostHmm now that would be interesting.Sorry Andres, reality seems much worse.
It's less than a month left until Serie A starts and we don't know shit. It should be a very busy week, this next one though.
Looking more like you're getting Morata.

Imagine Benzema out lasts both Ronaldo and Bale, lul.
And you know what, at this point, just keep him. Fuck it, give him a proper goodbye, big benz.
For the first time in a very long time I have no fucking idea what our team is going to be like next year, everything feels so very new.

I agree with this. There are times when he is given a chance and shows some incredible dribbling but substandard decision making.
Should have just bought Ox in that case.

It depends if Bale stays and if he is fit really. A fit Bale outweighs Ronaldo

But yeah, Morata is easily the worst attacker we've been linked with. Even worse than Zaza because he is that much more expensive.

He has to start producing consistently or what? He gets his wish and can leave?
Afternoon, lads. Have we finished 6th yet?
By Kidjr Go To PostAfternoon scum, three or so weeks left which I'm sure in levy's mind is eons what positions do you think you will strengthen in.I’m expecting a meh season from lolspurs, with an especially slow start. I want Martial in.
Is it too early to start talking about expectations for the season?
I don't think we will make fourth but if we miss it it'll be by a point or something. I'm OK without a trophy if it meant a season of transition.

Sounds like you agree that it doesn’t really make sense
By rvy Go To PostOh noYou got the league locked down. We have an idiot as a manager and Porto is apparently falling apart.
We beat sevilla
This means professor bombo has earned another lifeline
Allah no

By Oddinho Go To PostNo way Martial would rather leave than stay at United. Seems to me he just wants to be the star.
yep. when his agent's statement came out i said immediately it was worded very interestingly. sounded like the words of a man who wants increased status rather than to leave.
What the hell is happening with Spurs. Not spent a penny. And linked with fucking Jack Grealish.
Done good work with contracts though.

I will take him to be honest he’s a decent player and only going to get better.
If we get Martial or someone similar and another midfielder that would be a solid window
By Bungie Go To PostI will take him to be honest he’s a decent player and only going to get better. What's the situation with Alderweireld. Leaving on a free next summer?

Western sports media might actually be more hypocritical than the political media.

Cliche but you should always strengthen when you're at the top. No point buying a player who doesn't suit and who you don't actually want but I don't think Delph or Stones are serious options. Gundogan still doesn't look anywhere near his best, either - but I guess last season should have helped to get him back there.

Think its more a matter that he is forced to.

I think the most important thing this summer was to smash the wage structure. Levy’s done that so now we don’t have to have Jamie Redknapp banging on about our wages every single week.
Transfers were always going to be tough. The stadium is behind schedule and over budget, our CL roster already has too many foreign players and the type of forward players we want are all in the £60m range. Plus there are players on the transfer list like Toby, Dembele and Rose who have been away at the WC all summer and haven’t left yet. It’s possible none of them will leave in which case we sign Grealish and a forward and that’s it.
Yea, the lack of options is the real story here. Which makes it all the more baffling that City let the Jorginho saga rumble on in the face of ADL/Chelsea antics. And let Fred go elsewhere. Jorginho to City was so nailed on that we completely abandoned the idea and did the groundwork on Fabinho, which is a transfer that was in the works since around February/March. Between that time City really fucked up.
What is the new wage ceiling? What is Kane on? Assume Vertonghen, Alli and Eriksen aren’t far behind that level of earning.

When you are so woke, you go back to sleep https://www.resetera.com/threads/disney-severs-ties-with-james-gunn-after-controversial-tweets.56755/page-98#post-10650021
I'll repost this lil' bit I said in the petition thread, I think Disney jumped at the chance to fire Gunn.
If I'm really being conspiratorial. I think Gunn was fired BECAUSE he is so anti-Trump. The dude tweets nearly every day about Trump being a terrible asshat. And, I think Disney hates that because it means potentially losing Trump fans who will pay to see those movies. There are plenty of other directors who are anti-Trump on the Disney payroll, but most are not so active in tweeting against him. They'll, at most, "like" a post by someone else disparaging Trump or "retweet" some nice message. But few are actual tweeting against Trump every single day. And, as I said, I think that's the reason they were so eager to rid of him. They want a nice, safe director who will keep their mouth shut and draw the largest crowd, including Trump supporters.

But not vetoing a visit to the White House isn't the same as supporting or upholding the views and policies of the President either..and in the case of these Turkish-German athletes that is exactly what they're being accused of. It's unfair and it's a double standard - so good on him for pointing that out.
By Elchele Go To PostInter are going to sign Vidal for 30m fuckPlease no. Seeing Asa in those rags is bad enough.
I hope we don't sell Pjanic. There have been enough upsets in our mid over the past couple of years.
By Vivalapizza Go To PostAbsolutely. The thing is, that exactly that picture was used for his party AKP. I'm somewhat suprised that neither his agent nor anyone close to him said, that this might not be a smart idea currently.

Plus he should have just given the same statement as Gündogan right away. I wrote a rather huge post in the WC topic, it's not like he could have won either way.
The real sport journalists didn't really want a huge statement and they remained on Özils side, especially after the FA president, the manager Bierhoff and those disgusting shit tabloids like Bild made Özil the scapegoat for everything.
In the end, it wasn't the smartest idea from both Özil and Gündogan to make that picture, but it's far from a real problem and it was overblown to embarassing heights. The german FA, tabloid journalists, a couple of former footballers like Matthäus or Effenberg who did far worse shit embarassed themselves by trying to blame Özil for all that shit that went wrong.
It's a fucking shame and every player with two nationalities will think twice, which team he will play for in the future.

Nah. This is great. He is going out guns blazing giving the finger to everyone. He just needs to state that winning the world cup isnt worth all this shit right now, and he'll be a historical exclamation mark for the DFB youth teams to pick any other national football federation if given the choice.
Let the DFB choke on some of Paolo Rink's or Sean Dundee's kids, for all I care.
