Thought's on what I'm sure will be an ultimately meaningless friendly:
- AP44 was our best player, easily, and kept it up for the full 90.
- No idea why he took Martial off on the 60th (didn't look tired and we're light on attackers) and then played Mata as a false 9 in system that doesn't accommodate one and then moved Shaw to LW. Genius.
- Shaw seemed fine at LB, however.
- Bailly looked rusty.
- Smalling continues to upset me to my very core.
- McTominay is fucking BAAAASSSIC. A low rent Darren Fletcher thus far. Just technically so fucking cumbersome for a CM that pushes up the pitch.
- Darmian gets worse every time you watch him.
- Chong was decent but not as good as some new outlets suggested. Nice to see him be productive at RW at least. He has another year or two of development at least before he can be considered for the first team.
- Continue to not be impressed by Joel Perreira.

Doubt he'll be out wide much.

When he came on at the World Cup he did so as a wide forward. I think it will be very similar to Hazard in that he starts wide and has freedom to come inside.
