By Flutter Go To PostSeems risky.SONALDO
I'd think it'd be much more risky to leave him on a deal with two years left. I imagine there's a clause that cancels the contract in the case of him getting drafted.
We cannot in any circumstance lose Kovacic, especially to City of all the paces, fuck them.
This season it's crucial Kovacic gets more minutes, last season was a disaster when we lost the CDR and used the league to keep the starting 11 game-fit. It removed all possibilities to play our younger talents, like Kovacic.

He may be 17 but I'm kinda hyped for Vinny jr, kid had such a good year in Flamengo, almost a shame it was cut short.
By Mister0079 Go To Postdon't see how vinicius will get any playing timeProbably the best season for him to get playing time tbh
He'll get 0 playing time here, my best bet is he's sent to Portugal to toughen up before coming back ala Casemiro.
By Diego! Go To PostI agree. I was just kind of pointing out the BS in what Oddinho posted here:
The hell? How is that BS? Tottenham and Liverpool have weaker squads and Klopp and Pochettino both like to play direct, fast football with young players. United have a manager who only trusts 28 year old brutes, and a director who is obsessed with the idea of buying walking billboards for 100 million.

Not sure how Pogba is a walking billboard(if you are refering to him).
I wouldn't be surprised if Pogba has won more than the entire Liverpool squad combined.
Maybe I should go to sleep because Odd is talking about United again :p

What the crap are you even talking about?
What does it have anything to do with winning things? I’m saying that Woodward dreams of putting together a galactico team of household names and Mourinho has a well-known type of player that he prefers, and that a young player who needs time and patience to grow is not going to get enough time on the pitch
You’re so damn single-minded, before you’ve even comprehended what I wrote you’re rushing to find a counterpoint. READ.
By Flutter Go To Post28 year old brute
Bro, who has Mourinho signed?
Matic. A brute.
Lukaku. A brute
Mkhitaryan? Bombed out before he can even say hello sir I like your necktie.
Ibrahimovic. A brute.
Eric Bailey. All CBs are brutes so that doesn’t count.
Who does he insist on playing time and again, despite his lack of footballing ability and the fact that he degrades United’s play to hoofballs and knock-downs?
Fellaini. A brute.
Manchester United have the tallest team in the league. The only taller team was fucking relegated West Brom.
I feel like I’m taking crazy pills here. Is Mourinho suddenly today not the manager he has been for the past 10 years?
Loovens reeks of a panic signing.
Plus we really shouldn't be struggling to beat fucking Portsmouth to a signing (Mo Eisa) but it looks like we are...
Nice that we can shift a player within 12 hours though, especially when he has to fly to fucking Spain and pass a medical in that time.

Pogba is first and foremost a fantastic footballer. He was in demand not because of his marketing ability but rather the fact that very few footballers can do what he can.
I comprehended what you read, but it just didn’t make sense.
And you are now calling Ibra a brute lol.
Honestly exhausted due to work but the argument started with Rashford Odd, so let me just reiterate what I said about him.
Rashford has the most minutes out of any United player last season, and is one of the few United players that Mou raves about. If Mou plays him so he can have the rope to hang himself with, then it's his own fault for not making it because fucking hell he's been given and mostly likely to be given an awfully long rope to do it.
The Lingard gif is a joke, on this quote:
I'm not that daft to not know you were exaggerating on that bit. He does trust Lingard a whole lot though.
Anyway it's not fair to categorize both Ibra and Lukaku as brutes, considering both don't really play as simple a target man like Fellaini is.

Well, you clearly still just read what you want to read so, shrug. My point was that Rashford is going to be replaced by a big name because that’s the way Mourinho and Woodward operate. Never said anything about footballing ability, except that Rashford is good, but not good enough to be a star.
Ibrahimovic is 195cm tall. He’s a fucking titan.
We definitely don’t play fast direct football.
Fernando was a proper brute. I’m not even sure he had human-level intelligence.

Ibra is tall, but he was pretty shit at heading the ball during his career all things considered. The common saying about Ibra even way before he joined us is that he couldn't head a beachball into the ocean. If a ball is at head height he was more likely to try a bycicle kick than head it in.
Not seeing this "brute" argument really. Sounds like something a Liverpoolpundit fan would say tho.

Being tall doesnt mean he's a brute.
Being a brute, for a footballer is someone who doesn't seem to have the football intelligence and only relies on their physicality to beat their opponent. That's definitely not Matic, Lukaku or Ibra.
Also on what basis is Eric Bailly a brute. Is Kante a brute then?

One season of enjoyable football and suddenly Liverpool fans feel like they invented the sport. Trophies aren't even that important anymore, it's all about having fun. I see a pattern here. The exact same thing happened with Napoli fans. Next thing you'll know they'll see themselves as the moral league winners as well ...
... is what I would say, if I was bitter about it.

Although at least they spend money.
Didn't see much of Pereira yesterday. Think he was playing too deep for his liking.
We are missing 14 players tho, so there is not much to read into a first training session.

Only watched the first half so far but I continue to really like him in that position.
AP can hold on to the ball really well, if we can mould him into Carrick type player, I will be pleased.
But right now, Mou couldn't start a piss-up in a brewery.
