Seems I struck a nerve for what, not thinking he’s world class? He’s good. If he were at Liverpool, Spurs or Arsenal he’d be set for years to come. But he’s not at a Klopp or Pochettino club. He’s in a Mourinho team.
How come Man Utds preseason matches only started last night btw?
Or did ours start early since we have a fair few players to bed in and to build their fitness up after they struggled last season?

And it's well known that he loves Rashford, which can easily be proven with him being the player with the most playtime for United last season.
If the conversation was about Pereira, or Chong then yeah, there's a point to be made.
By Hitch Go To PostHow come Man Utds preseason matches only started last night btw?I don't know, probably Mou wanting to start late due to a lot playing for the WC. City also started preseason late if im not mistaken.

Its interesting because Dominic Solanke is only a month older than Rashford and Solanke was always chosen ahead of him all throughout his youth career playing for England. He was considered one of the best English prospects. His career stalled though when he got tapped up and went to Liverpool. Will be interesting to see how both the players develop.
His career stalled then* he got tapped up and went to Liverpool. He left because he, rightfully, knew there was no path to first team football at Chelsea.
Hope Solanke gets all the game time ahead of Ings this season
He was pretty poor last season especially in front of goal, but so was Ings and I can't really see him having any future with us. Shame, but those injuries basically robbed him of the chance to make it with us in a key role, and at this stage of his career it's surely better that he plays regularly somewhere.
edit: just remembered we still have Origi as well. No idea where he stands with us, surely we're entertaining offers for him.

I dunno what’s gonna happen with Origi either. Don’t think he’s gonna perform for Liverpool, but at the same time I don’t think the club wants to give up on the idea of him coming good. I’d rather use Solanke than Origi personally, he slots into the false 9 position better.

Nah he went:
2014-15 - Top Chelsea youth scorer - 41 goals in 39 games winning youth league/uefa cup etc. Academy player of the season
2015-16 - Vitesse - by all accounts a very promising year for a guy only 17-18 years old.
2016-17 - Would have gone on loan again but he got tapped up - told he could make more money at Liverpool and demanded more money from Chelsea. Ended up spending the year in limbo making only 6 appearances for the youth team
2017-18 - Moved to Liverpool
Love that Roma are using the Alisson money to get one of Everton’s targets. Such a triple whammy transfer, including whatever Chelsea do.
You could have the best youth prospect in the world but until you see them playing in high level senior football you just never know.
Solanke got good minutes last season for a guy of his age. We really gave him a shot, moreso than any other top six club would’ve. I suspect he’ll continue to get minutes, particularly with Origi and Ings most likely leaving.
But all that said he struggled with the art of taking his chances last year. There was that really cathartic moment on the final day when he bagged a Worldie, and it was a sigh of relief for everyone. He’s shown real promise but got gradually worse as the season progressed, and he missed more and more chances.
Hopeful for him this year but he’s against the clock because Rhian Brewster is returning to fitness and he is very much being groomed as one of our future stars.
By Diego! Go To PostNah he went:So basically he was the top youth scorer then he went to Vitesse? Youth leagues are so far off senior football and I can’t imagine Vitesse was all that representative either.

Honestly, Markovic looked better than Origi last night. Don't think Origi will be on our books much longer.
Brewster is out till Christmas. Plenty of time for Solanke to up his game.

He’s always looked okay, for me, particularly given he’s so young. Don’t really understand why he’s consistently been bombed out. Must be a stinker in training.

He's a younger Krasic. Travels in a straight line, doesn't like tracking back.
By Diego! Go To PostWell he clearly was good enough for Liverpool to want himGood enough prospect, yes.
Youth development isn’t a straight line. For every Paul Pogba there’s a player who doesn’t develop quite as people expect. That’s just the way it is. Some take much longer to transfer potential to reality, some never get there at all.
My boy Suso is doing well at an average Milan. At one point I thought he was going to be the new Juan Mata. Some of the guys here thought Tom Cleverley was going to develop into Paul Scholes.
Speaking of, is Salazar still around? Smart guy.

Good for Milan; makes the Europa League slightly more enjoyable too.
Telegraph reporting that we are considering giving Mane the 10. This is either a complex, sophisticated game of PR warfare with Lyon or the Fekir deal really is off. Almost entirely sure the latter is true at this stage.
Shame but I’m really happy with the squad.

Interesting that’s ES say Chelsea want Dona, considering Abramovich was in Milan.

No. I just want Halo 3 to be honest. I tried the Halo Online mod with the custom servers but it wasn’t very stable and hard to get a game going.
Why do you ask?
By Bungie Go To PostNo. I just want Halo 3 to be honest. I tried the Halo Online mod with the custom servers but it wasn’t very stable and hard to get a game going.I watched some Halo Championship then tried playing it and it’s so much harder now. All of the expanded movement options, including thrusters, plus pistol starts mean the skill ceiling is way up on previous games. It’s good in a way, but you can be absolutely demolished by a good team.
Why do you ask?
