I know it's hard to ask a friend if they're feeling ok when on the surface everything points to the fact they are. But please make the effort. You just never know.

Sorry to hear that, someone I know attempted it but fortunately failed at it, nobody saw it coming. The scary thing I've noticed is the people who are the most likely to attempt it are the ones who never talk about it.

Depression is far more common than people would like to admit.
Was he deep in debt? That wouldn't have helped.

Unfortunately, depression is something that isn't easy to spot as many times the person will hide it and no one will have any idea how much that person is suffering.

Rafael Leão is so fucking dumb. He was injured at the end of the season and it seems like our medical staff had planned to do his recovery during the holidays but since he has been travelling around Europe to find a club willing to take the risk of signing him and has only been working with a personal trainer, he hasn't recovered from his injury.
So, not only has he lost most (if not all) of the pre-season, he will also be out for a few weeks before he can play as he will need to work on recovering from his injury.
He really is an idiot that's unable to think for himself and that's being used and abused by his father and agent so they can get a quick paycheck.

He's pissed that he's a rotation option but he had a horrid second year with us, and was pretty good for us last season, even if he was inconsistent.

His agent wants the best for Martial, but what he's doing is just limiting clubs that could be interested in him. He's a player in a position where there's plenty of good prospects out there, and if we count on his favored striker role, he was shit for us, even this preseason against MLS teams.
Now he's irking Mou by taking a long holiday when we desperately need somebody up front to the point where we are calling Rashford back from his vacation. Preseason is not over and I won't be surprised if he's barely picked for the first team when the season starts.
Even if he's sold next year, I'll be surprised if Barca, Bayern, Real, or even PSG come calling.

My sister is devastated but is at least talking about it. I'm very grateful towards her friends. We're a close family but there are times when you're better off with your friends. There's a dozen of them in the sitting room with her. Dropped everything when they heard the news and came straight over. Been there since midday at least.
