By RobNBanks Go To PostOk so they did give some details but TPP/FPP is vague as hell and doesn’t mean Bethesda like. Deus Ex is TPP/FPP, it could have meant anything.During the actual siggraph presentation, the dude talking says it could have been played in either perspective.
By masud Go To PostI don't get the aversion to first person rpgs. Nor do I get whatever the hell Sy is doing…You can't read? I'm responding to Rob's claim that no perspective was known for DP2077. Also. some people get motion sickness from FPS views.
By livefromkyoto Go To PostPhil says he’s going back to Japan again. Otogi 3 or you suck.
J/k. That whole part of the conversation was like…yeah, he’s right, Japan went through the whole “HD towns are hard and all the money here is in mobile, maybe we’re out” thing. But at the same time, at the end of the 360 era MS - I don’t know if it was Mattrick or what- just seemed to look at Japan as throwing money down a well and gave up, undoing all the work they’d put in to build up a presence there. It’s mind blowing to look back and see that the Steins;Gate franchise started as a Japan-only 360 game, something like that could never happen now selling 5000 systems a year there while Nintendo sells 40 000 a week.
Don't have to do with Japan not liking American products ?

iphone.
By Kuma Go To PostDon't have to do with Japan not liking American products ?People think this, and I’m sure there’s some element of nationalism at play - just like there is with people who buy American with Xbox. But games like CoD & GTA have done really well there. It’s really because they don’t have the critical mass of key Japan franchises that Sony & Nintendo do.
By YungMagus Go To Post^and BattlefieldYeah, it was weird when a whole bunch of Japanese streamers started playing that. It was like, “but nobody plays PC games in this country except Blackace, how is this happening?”
PUBG is hot in the streets here as well

Phil unleashing the full. Potential of Microsoft's #warchest.
Poor Nintendo and Sony, no ffp to save them.

Nx gamer with the nice break down for the last of us part II trailer.
I really do remember people (here) saying that there would be nothing possible on a ps4 that wouldn't be possible on a similar spec pc. Smh.

You don't think what TLOU looks like couldn't done one a similar spec PC?
lul
First off you'd immediately have a CPU advantage on PC. You couldn't buy a comparable trash CPU in 2018 on PC if you wanted to.

This is... extremely silly.
I hope they are still saying that
By GQman2121 Go To PostIsn't the PS4 built with mainly off the shelf PC parts anyway?Well, basically. It's not a bad thing, really.
