They delayed it to 2019, due the restructure the company has to pull off and I'm sure their change of the engine and focus on quality will also play part of that.

But at the same time, at the end of the 360 era MS - I don’t know if it was Mattrick or what- just seemed to look at Japan as throwing money down a well and gave up, undoing all the work they’d put in to build up a presence there. It’s mind blowing to look back and see that the Steins;Gate franchise started as a Japan-only 360 game, something like that could never happen now selling 5000 systems a year there while Nintendo sells 40 000 a week.
