Confirmed not to be a part of the game. Devs have talked about moving straight to a re3 remake though.

looks gorgeous as always, IOI are killing it
decent E3 ignoring the constant cynicism and whining you get on the internet, Cyberpunk 2077, DMC 5, RE 2 are the standouts, Metro Exodus, Dying Light 2, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice looked great, Rage 2 has potential, need to see more of DOOM Eternal and Gears Tactics.

Microsofts E3 conference might have been the one that got me the most excited this year since it seems like everything they showed is coming to PC with the additional benefit that I don't have to pay to play these games online unlike xbox owners.
I bought Forza Horizon 3 on the Microsoft store when it came out. It worked fine and the game was fantastic. The only downside was that it didn't work very well with steam in home streaming which I use occasionally.
The Microsoft store itself is terrible though. Full of shovelware. Who do they think they are? Valve?
Its a shame I will probably skip Horizon 4 as it looks like it won't have any VR support. It would probably be fairly easy for Microsoft to implement and it would be fantastic. Microsoft recently brought out their own VR headsets but they have completely failed to support them with any decent games. Who do they think they are? Valve?

People who don't won't remember a thing anyway.That does seem to be the case. Honestly wish we didn't get that trailer if the game is still 12-24 months out. Even with being disappointed that they're calling it an RPG first and a shooter second despite it being in first person, I'm really excited for it, but also against these early reveals. The logo alone would have been enough for me.
