By FligureSkatingFan Go To PostThe shadow on that Fifa cover. Christ.Dat ass though:
RE4 also has a dynamic difficulty system that adapts to your ability. It's very subtle and that's the genius of it. It might be unsurpassed to this day.
The encounter design is ace, with memorable fights and bosses. The animations were top drawer at the time: everything from reloading a gun to deaths were intense. It's expertly split between tense, action packed, and exploration sections.

RE4 is great, but replaying it after playing recent third person games peeved me off because you can't move while shooting. Finished it three times in a row when I first got it though, so it's up there with one of my favorite gaming moments.
By Laboured Go To PostNone of our targets' prices will be effected by the World Cup. They're all known quantities. Generally speaking, I think scouting networks are now good enough that the WC effect on player prices will pretty much cease to be.
I think paying for prestige is still a thing. Real do it all the time.
RE4 is one of the all time greats for sure. Horse nailed the reasons why, but among those reasons I would have its encounter design as the biggest. Every stage is great
Got the japanese demo disc of Re4 and it blew me away. Knew i would like the final game from that point (cave monster was the icing on the cake). Sure, controls are a little bit off (even back then) but the pacing of the game and events made it the Die Hard of vg for me.
Getting into the village in the first section and then the church bells start going off and everyone disappears.
Dread.
Brilliant atmosphere.

By Laboured Go To PostPlay mechanics, encounter design, level design and pacing are about as good as you get for a slow, tense third person shooter, even today. Doesn't overstay its welcome over a large amount of content/game length and it is hugely replayable. From my understanding, RE games before this were even more limited with healing, but this one had the perfect balance where you were sort of always nervous about it but knew you could eventually get more if needed. Made for very tense inventory management.
By Xpike Go To Postso have they announced the CL license already or do we need to wait till tomorrow? They haven't announced it yet but it's been leaked by multiple sources.

Could probably replace stewie and make sk better though
By Laboured Go To PostWouldn't be happy if he moved. Was poor last season but good the one before. Is still a very good squad player.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostWilliam Carvalho to Everton could be done in the next few hours.Rinse them.

By Zabojnik Go To PostHow does Bielsa still get work after the shit he's pulled throughout his career. He clearly has mental issues, but he's probably among the best 5 coaches in the world. Even if he leaves after one season, he leaves a good structure and youth players behind to continue working with.
Actually … Leeds, you say? Sounds about right.
Is not the coach for a club like Bayern, Juve or RM. But a lot of medium clubs could use a year of Bielsa.
Surprised he's going to Leeds. Are the owners italian or something?
Rashford's performance yesterday was something. If I have to pick between Sterling and Rashford as who is a better player it would be Sterling, but he hasn't really been as good as Rashford when they play for the NT.
Considering how good he is at getting into goalscoring positions for his club, Sterling's goal record for England is pathetic. 2 in 38 games.
By Laboured Go To PostHahahaha oh Flabber bb I hope it goes better for you than it did us (probably will).I wanted him when he left Torino for United. This is my delayed punishment.
