By Bold 2 in One Go To PostI thought United had Top on lock at least… ?
Lowest we can finish is third; need a point for second.
By Fergie Go To Post"End of an Era" has become a bit of cliche, but in this instance, its true.
.
Fergie and Arsene were the last of their kinds.

League form is terrible, wouldn't be at all surprised if we fail to beat Brighton.
I can't believe this is coming down to the final two match days. All those points pissed away to Burnley, West Ham, Palace, Bournemouth and Watford.
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostGiroud running straight to Luiz is telling. Maybe there's truth on the conflict between him and Conte after all.that was weird as fuck
Morata though… Won't be surprised if he's out of the team this match because he chose to whine to the press again. Glad we didn't go for him.
why would a new player do that
surely Conte has already been told hes out
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostBecause you aren't City or PSG.
Other than those two teams, no other teams can spend that much on non priority. Even Real and Barca have to sell players when they make big transfers.
Dude we have barely spent any money since FSG has taken over.
By n8 dogg Go To PostYou know, in the 15 years I followed United with Fergie in charge, the only game I ever really expected to lose was Barca 2011. Imagine having that self-belief as a fan with him in charge. Imagine having that self-belief as a player.
Miss him being our manager more every day.
Growing up I hated him because he was United's manager, but when I started to mature I had nothing but respect for him. First opponent I grew to like.
Just the absolute greatest winner football has ever seen.
Liverpool has lost less games than United 5 - 7, but those 12 draws is what have killed us. Especially when 8 of those 12 should have been wins.

Think he’s an underrated tactician too; he always gets talked about in regards to his motivation skills but he was the first British coach to recognise 3 in the mid was so crucial to win in Europe.

By Unreal Champ Go To PostDude we have barely spent any money since FSG has taken over.Net spend isnt everything. There's fees, bonus, and of course total wages to account for.
It would make sense if you make a low priority buy on youth or bit players, but not to those that have the quality to be first teamers right off the bat.

Eredivisie top scorer results have been a bit dire in recent seasons.
21 goals is amongst the lowest historically. Only three players with the top scorer title that scored less goals (18 & 19 goals).
In Ajax case we've had a lot of different goal scorers this years. Five players on 10+ and another one on 9 goals. Three of them being midfielders. We haven't really had a guy that puts in a lot of goals since Suarez lost. Ever since we've been spreading out the goals across more players each season.

Yeah, most pundits only seem to equate being a great tactician with having your own susttem named after you lol.

Let's see if Salah commits. He seems like a good lad but Real is Real.

Fucking hell Holland please sort our your football academies again
He actually did score quite a few goals. Just transferred away from the Eredivisie way too soon. The year before he became topscorer of the league he played a league lower for my local club. It took him about a year to get from Almere City in the second tier of Dutch football to become a Spurs player. That was never a good plan to begin with.
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostHow much money will Liverpool lose if they fail to get CL qualification. It's like £50-70m depending on how far you progress. It's serious money and will only go up.
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostThey said that about Coutinho. No they didn't. And lets be honest, they weren't going to sell Coutinho. It was Klopp decision to sell him so the team wouldn't be affected. FSG were prepared to force Coutinho to stay but they left the decision up to Klopp.

By GQman2121 Go To PostAlmost hard to believe that this is real. Wenger out has been a thing for years now.
it's not real. all wengeroutists will soon come to realize that when they wake up and see that arsene has signed an extension.

Maybe Welbeck is the instigator of managers leaving. He saw Fergie's farewell, now he's overseeing Wenger's.
