By Francis Go To PostJavi Martínez is reportedly out for tonight’s clash. Suffering from ”dizziness”.
Didn't he suffer a concussion in the first game?

Ok, brb going for my jog.
By Laboured Go To PostIt's not entirely 'ridiculous', but it's also clearly not a simple equation of taking a manager with x performance with a certain pedigree of players and determining that his performance will rise linearly with the quality of players at his disposal - AKA the Moyes equation. He's not taking over a league winner or even a CL side; it's Arsenal. If mid table to current Arsenal.is still too much then how will anyone ever move up to the top level.

We always want more. We love the UCL more than anything.
And we play like shit in Bernabeu from time to time
By BigBoss Go To PostDidn't he suffer a concussion in the first game?I don’t think it was ever confirmed as such, but he was virtually knocked out and bled (from his forehead).
Bayern have been very unfortunate with injuries. It’s a shame.

By gambling / taking a risk of course. There is chance he could become a successful top end manager. But it'd be a pretty big leap of faith, far more so than most of the other managers discussed. And I do think the Moyes example does probably linger in the mind of executives in charge of the top end EPL football clubs.

True, both good gambles. It's whether you're prepared for the outcomes if the opposite happens I suppose. I suspect from the names linked to Arsenal that the board are maybe more risk averse. It seems like Wenger kept his job mainly on the basis that he got top 4 and we're now left wondering the extent to which Arsenal will allow for a bedding in season of lowered expectations (bearing in mind Poch and Brenton took at least a year for things to start drastically improving).
YES!!!! The re-cut version of S4 of Arrested Development is finally coming out this Friday on Netflix.

Ehm where are you reading this? I would love it to happen, especially since we sold Pavlovic. He has stated several times through the years he would like to return, and we seem like we softened up to the idea as well, but I do not see any current rumors.

Is it actually going to be normal episodes instead of the weird shit they did?
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostI think Blind will do well in a smaller club that plays more defensively. He's slow but is intelligent enough to get into positions to defend the ball well. He'll do well at a team that plays possession football and is okay with having defensive weaknesses.
Fuck Darmian though.

By Francis Go To PostStrootman won’t be fit in time for tomorrow. Congrats, Liverpool.Might not be a negative, actually. Time for future Juve legend Pellegrini to shine.

Yeah I just saw it, from a danish radio show, he just said it was a dream and he wanted it to happen before he got too old. He has said this for like 4 years though. Better happen soon.

LOL. Yeah, let's just sell Martial.

Well, if it was up to Viva, we'd sell Lukaku and buy Morata as well.

United boss Mourinho has given Bailly no explanation why he has been dropped and was axed completely from the squad to face Arsenal on Sunday.
Mourinho has surprised United players by giving Bailly the cold shoulder and the defender has been left unhappy by the situation.
Bailly, 24, is desperate to get back in the team but has not played since the Manchester derby when United came from behind to beat City and deny them winning the title.
Bailly was in the frame for United’s next game against West Brom but was feeling unwell the day before the game and told by the club doctor to go home.
Since then, Bailly has not been involved and his omission from the squad to face Arsenal raised eyebrows among his team mates and set off alarm bells among the fans.
Not at all worried about Bailly. All he has to do is upstage Smalling in practice., which I think a player of his potential will do sooner or later.
Could work on being a threat during set pieces too. Man is crazy enough to do some John Terry shit.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho does not speak to his players when they are injured, according to Chelsea captain John Terry.
The Portuguese has seemingly followed in the footsteps of managerial greats like Brian Clough and Bill Shankly in blanking his players if they are on the treatment table.
The 54-year-old criticised Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw for not playing when they were 'not 100 per cent' against Swansea in November.
And Terry, who worked under Mourinho in two spells at Chelsea, has revealed that he has also been a victim of the Portuguese's tough love.
"If you picked up a knock and missed a day’s training, he’d come in and he wouldn’t speak to you," he told BT Sport.
"He’d walk straight past you on the treatment table.
"But you’re sitting there as captain of the football club, you come in kind of looking for the high five from the gaffer.
"You don’t get it, he blanks you and he says to the physio, while you’re there so he knows what he’s doing, ‘How long?’
"And the physio would say, ‘Couple of days’ and he’d just walk out."
Im actually trying to talk less about United because all of us are reiterating the same thing over and over. It's time to play the waiting game for some new rumors.
Most of us don't want to sell Martial, we are in somewhat on an agreement on which players should leave and that Mourinho's tactics can be absolutely dull. Some of those things could change while one in particular just got a year's extension on his contract with the club.

By Freewheelin Go To PostLow has never managed at club level iirc, which makes me a bit wary of him, would have him otherwise.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joachim_Löw
Allegri/Sarri/Simeone would be my picks. Would take Bentiez too tbh and Ancelotti
Dean please.
He won't quite the NT anyway, unless the team sucks balls during the WC.
