But then I read that he can be sloppy in possession because he tries to do it all himself and that even though he plays deep in midfield his defensive abilities aren't that good either. Plus he's 5'6. Basically made him out to be a midget Pogba so idk what we're looking for in midfield tbh.
Preference would be a deep lying passer who keeps the ball moving forward and is athletic enough to screen the defence and break up attacks. Basically Michael Carrick circa 2010.
