That was utter shit today.
Really not sure how we are coasting to second. It feels like we've barely improved.

By Francis Go To PostPSG losing 0-2 at home. Too bad it doesn’t matter.
Edit: Here we go, dodgy penalty calls.
Can’t let these fuckers win!
Apparently Mbappe had a goal that was wrongly disallowed so it evens out.
By Zabojnik Go To PostCan't imagine Fiorentina will put up much of a fight vs. Napoli today. Most of their fans would probably rather lose to help the Partenopei win the scudetto, such is their small time mentality. Alas, this is the unfortunate side of having so many "historic rivals", as they like to call themselves.Scum pls, need that Ronaldo face you do here
Congrats to BarcaSla&ent!

Overall it was excellent season, winning the domestic double yet again. But it would be really special to win the league as unbeaten.
To be up there with Arsenal FC.

Can't dig much into the season. Just hoping for greater things next season. But now with this league title and a domestic double, i'll do what I have done for years as a Barca fan and that's celebrate.
Just saw Avengers, pretty good. I don’t know where they’re going to go next with the next one, which is a good thing.
By Vivalapizza Go To PostThat was utter shit today.Probably because we aren't as bad as everyone thinks. It hasn't been great football at times, and there have been some terrible results but we've been second for most of the season and that hasn't been down to just luck. We're there because we deserve to be there. The way people talk about United you'd think we were fighting relegation

You haven’t really. Chelsea just went to shit and we had to play at Wembley. Still much work to be done.
Congrats to Barca and the one true GOAT.

If Hitch will allow it, I'd like to talk about refs for a second, because what happened today is too good not to share. It goes to show the level of mass hysteria that surrounds Juventus and referees in Italy. So Orsato didn't have the best of days yesterday. Of course, today everybody's talking about the red card shown to Inter 20 minutes into the game (he gave out a yellow first, then changed his ruling after the VAR review) and the second yellow not given to Pjanic (he deserved it). Nobody is talking about the clear-cut pen not given to Juve when we were 1-0 up, but that's the norm.
Allegri was sent off in the last minutes of the match, because he run onto the field to yell at our players. After the game, Allegri and Tagliavento, who was the assistant ref and the one to expel Allegri, crossed paths in the interviews area.
Shit goes viral, ladri, rubentus, etc. TV shows talk about it, news outlets report on it. What Allegri actually says, is jokingly ask the ref if he (Allegri) 'did good' by not protesting after being sent off, to which the ref replies 'you're promoted'. It took 2 minutes to debunk, but apparently it was news worthy.
At the same time, some people attempt to reconstruct (via lip-reading) something Tagliavento allegedly said by the touchline as the match was coming to a close.
According to these internet scientists Tagliavento says 'ora vinciamo nel recupero' (now we'll win it in extra time), thus exposing his football faith & utter corruption. What he actually says - and again, it took 30 seconds to debunk - is 'quanto recupero facciamo' (how many extra minutes do we give). And he doesn't say it during the decisive last minutes of the 2nd half, but rather at the end of the 1st half.
This is your standard anti-juve conspiracy bullshit. But the astonishing thing is that it led to a statement from Pecoraro, FIGC's prosecutor, who said he'll examine the 'incriminating' videos and send additional personnel to the remaining Serie A matches to guarantee the legality of everything.
Farsopoli 2 cometh m8s. Pray for Juve.

By n8 dogg Go To PostAnother incredible season for Messi
And somehow he is being overlooked. As absurd as it sounds that I'm complaining about that lol.
Despite winning copa del rey, la liga POTENTIALLY unbeaten, having the European golden shoe unless Salah pulls off magic. He was our top scorer in CL, Own Goals was 2nd with 5 goals, the rest of the team equal on 1 goal for a few of the players.
He has been genuinely incredible this season. And that one game we choked vs Roma has seemingly made everyone forget just how much better he has been than anyone this season.
By Laboured Go To PostPretty sure he was at the last Bayern match sitting in front of Neuer.
Zelda BOTW is pretty good. Like, pretty, pretty fucking good. I know you are all shocked.
I think the thing I like the most is the lack of structured dungeons and the exploration based progression. I also enjoyed the narrative framed as a redemption story. It gives your actions a bit more weight without the usual pressure of a world ending event bugging your journey. I have only the castle and DLC left (did all 120 shrines, all quests I could find, and divine beasts obvs).
Disappointed with some of the music, and some of the awful leftovers from other Nintendo games rear their ugly head every now and then (like the endless menu checks and animations for simple things like upgrading armor, especially if you upgrade everything like I do). But it's still such a joy.
Good shit.

I've never played Zelda before, other than trying a few briefly. I can't get into it at all. Exploring is kind of cool, shrines are for the most part meh though and combat is straight up trash, even if it can be fun to come up with weird ways to use the systems. Game isn't bad at all, but it's also just... Not something getting me hooked at all.
Mario odyssey > Zelda.
Mario odyssey > Zelda.
To me Zelda series have always been decent games, but I've never loved them (2D Zelda is where it's at). Breaking free of those conventions makes me appreciate this game more because it gets rid of a lot of shit I've been saying brings those games down. The bite sized room puzzles are as big as some of those have to be. The old temples were never my thing.
I don't think combat is trash, at least one on one parrying is fun and Lynel's have a good amount of mechanics to improve on. There's just not that much enemy variety and fighting multiple enemies is a bit of a chore, so maybe there.
But I can understand. It's a solid 9/10 for me.

Porto fans had a crazy reception waiting for the team at the airport after their away win against Marítimo put them one point away from the title.
Pretty big news about Buvač, if true - which I sincerely doubt. They're virtually brothers.
I'd be shocked at anything other than an amicable (future?) split.

Just saw Bobby signed a new contract, and Buvac is leaving?? That is a huge blow, Buvac is an extremely important part of Klopp’s team.

Question about FM, anyone else every run into a weird bug where a team that should have gotten a seed in the CL didn't get in for some reason.
If The Brain has indeed quit on Liverpool it opens the door to Gerrard, surely he’d want to be in Klopps back room staff than go to Rangers.
Not sure what to make of this Buvac news but...
..Monday, lads.
And it's bloody Castles (that everyone else seem to quote), so i'll wait for another credible source, thank you very much, Horse.

By Dan Go To PostIf The Brain has indeed quit on Liverpool it opens the door to Gerrard, surely he’d want to be in Klopps back room staff than go to Rangers.By all accounts Buvac plays (played?) such a key role, I don't think Klopp would entrust it to anyone who is something of an unknown quantity in the role. Would like to see Gerrard spend another good season with the U18s, then move up to the U23s if it becomes available in a reasonable timeframe.
Rangers job is a hiding to nothing. Even if he did a brilliant job there, they'd merely move a bit closer to Celtic. They're not set up to succeed these days.
On the Buvac situation, hopefully its all nonsense, but if it isn't I really do hope its not come about because of some massive argument, but rather something simple like him not adjusting to England well. Even if it doesn't effect the team too much, wouldn't be nice if a 17-year partnership ended in bad blood.
Buvac has taken time off for personal reasons but remains a Liverpool employee.
