The definition of insanity is rooting for a James Dolan team over and over and expecting different results.

By domino Go To Postdid they just give Tim a key so he can hop on the bike and swim laps whenever he felt like it?Wouldn't you? He's probably great to have around, especially with Parker & Manu still there.
By rodeoclown Go To PostI feel like the Magic have been tanking for a decade. They're about to finish last in their division 6 years running. Before that they were making the playoffs.
They and a couple of other franchises are cautionary tales to all the fans who think their team should just lose every game so they can start winning championships. Can anyone honestly say their chances would have been worse if they hadn't bottomed out?
idk....If anything the Magic's problem is that they didn't bottom out enough...or rather panicked traded themselves back into shit. Hindsight and all that jazz but giving up on Oladipo and Sabonis for a half a season of Segre Ibaka seems pretty terrible. Doesn't help that they drafted a bunch of guys who do the same shit back to back to back either. For a bad team, they still have a bunch of useful players...its just that none of them move the needle by themselves.

Looked up some of the teams that have been out of it for a while...looking at this, it's only really fair to say this is the 3rd straight season of Suns tanking (11-12 was the last year they had Nash):
At Macworld in January of 2007, during the presidency of George W. Bush, Steve Jobs introduced the world to the first smartphone, which would go on to create a paradigm shift in human interaction. This was 8 months after the San Antonio Spurs had knocked Bonzi Wells' Sacramento Kings out of the playoffs for the final time.
There has never been a Kings playoff team in a world with smartphones in it:

stein's report is based on a rumor but i wouldn't be surprised if vogel is gone in the summer--he just looks tired and keeps playing shitty vets instead of young dudes.
orlando has only had one top 3 pick in the post dwight era and that was in the garbo 2013 draft so they've never truly bottomed out for multiple years. granted oladipo magically got way better but he was shooting guard jeff green in orlando and okc. the thing that rly fucked things up was rob hennigan's insane infatuation with elfrid payton (which was the reason skiles just quit in 2015). to bet on a guy like that over multiple years in today's nba was ridiculous
also not moving vucevic in 2015 or so when people could still be fooled by no d playing centers who put up numbers.

Meanwhile, multiple former employees told me, Pittman was the entire HR department, and they felt that he already knew much of what was going on. Pittman also got a cushy write-up in Profile that described the Mavs as the organization others in the NBA called, asking “for advice on how to improve.” In it, Pittman called Ussery—who has now been accused of sexual harassment at two jobs—“one of the persons I trust most in my office.”Ugh.

ppl cant help themselves. we have individual bathrooms at my office and some of the shit i hear coming out of them that ppl are playing on their phones *closes ears*
tbh tho i'd rather hear that than ppls guts falling out because they dont eat right.

true. i guess i imagined he'd just fuck off back to the VI and reappear when he was needed like Godzilla at the end of every movie.
The rim in Raps/Nets just got bent. They had to stop the game while a guy with a measuring tape and a level climbed a ladder and fixed it. The commentators are doing a dramatic play by play of the repairs.
By DY_nasty Go To PostWTF is up with people and workplace porn? The guy probably got off on the power of having the power to get away with it.
The Wizard announcers (I think that that's who is announcing on NBA TV right now) do nothing to draw me into the game. Utterly forgettable.
By kjack Go To PostThe guy probably got off on the power of having the power to get away with it.i don't even think that's always a power thing
i've heard of dudes beating off during breaks in their car and i'm like.... is it that necessary? lol. what the hell are these diets looking like
wizards are intensionally fouling good shooters with over a minute to go and 11 seconds on the shot clock?
what
Is Brooks just stupid or something?

I hate the NBA sometimes. Ante Zizic has been giving you amazing production in short minutes and you have to take him out of the rotation because basura TT comes back from injury?
