By Jeff-DSA Go To PostOh, and my wife and I are at the hospital. We're having a baby today. Still no name chosen. Boy names, now. No jokey hokey crap.
Congrats!

Who's gonna get stuck with them?
Charlotte will trade up for the rights to eventually trade Trae Young to OKC for a future second round pick.
By s y Go To PostPlayoffs start in like 3 weeks wow.Should've started two month ago.

82 games is way too much if you have playoffs after. 40 would be about right.
By s y Go To Post^^He'll probably curve that too.
Nobody else hype for Houston v Portland tonight?
Portland will probably go hard because of cj "not as long as i'm here" and dame's disgust at uncle chris
houston need to think about curving minutes back and it don't matter too much to them w/l standings wise
facts

yeah? they're also playing like the 3rd easiest remaining schedule
how does that factor into what i said lol. houston basically has a 5 lead game on gsw with the tiebreaker, and looking at the raptors, a 4 game lead. they need to be dialing some minutes back pretty soon.
but portland will treat it as a big deal game

I don't think GSW care about home court.
I also think they're doing the rest much smarter than most teams have done in the past. Get it done in the mid season so you can get 10 games at the end of the season together again, and run in with some play and fitness.

i don't think curry having repeated ankle issues, klay a fractured thumb, and durant popped in his skinny ribs were all planned.
but since it did happen, they're milking it. i guess that's "smart"? lightyears ahead of everybody else
rockets have a nice homestand after having a tough schedule after the break
lol i like the white-out
If anyone else ever listens to The Ringer podcasts, i love how Chris Vernon shits on all the draft picks "Oh, is Alexey Schved still leading that league in scoring?" "Man, fuck DeAndre Ayton!" It's pretty entertaining.

As you said, none of those injuries are ideal. And maybe some of it is stuff they would have played through in the past also. But they're milking it, and that's smart.
I always hated when PHX / other teams do the "rest the last 5 games" thing, because you could always tell they were rusty when they started the first round.
Houston haven't had the work load the warriors have had for the last 4 seasons. So they're not AS desperate for rest. Though i'm sure it will benefit them given their short rotations most of the year.

"Coming here made me realize what a franchise looks like" You going to just let Blake diss your franchise like that, Adam?

Pels just set a franchise record for most assists in a season.
e: also, AD sat out the last couple minutes of the first half with what appears (hopefully) to be a bruised shin

The Knicks are a gift that keep on giving.
Mark Jackson as head coach of the Knicks would be glorious

By s y Go To PostIt's not like you guys were much better than the Clippers with Jimmy lolI don't think they've played each other with mostly healthy rosters this year?
But I mean, I have no illusions. The Wolves are 6-11 without Butler. They're bad. They should miss the playoffs because Thibs is a bum.
By Kibner Go To PostI hope this happens:The ultimate Knicks move.
i've figured out that the refs will go look at replays if you just act like you got hurt, what a great timeout method.
