Kermit really has a chip on his shoulder with his "you're just saying that because you're envious" posts 😂
It is official.

I repeat

By Kermit Go To PostThe best part is I never even said they were the best team, just that we’re playing the best football.I'm not trying to pick a fight, but I do think you need to go back and (re)watch some teams over the last 10-15 years. It's really got nothing to do with envy.
Yet the little green balls of envy couldn’t help falling over themselves trying to rubbish it. Says it all, really. Satisfying.
I make no secret of disliking Guardiola but that's not to say I begrudge him or City any of their fortunes. He's doing an incredible job. You're the
By Arnie Go To PostKermit you’re bizarre.
Spitting foam with rage because people believe objectively better football teams played nicer football. If you watched football in 2003 you’d understand.
City are amazing. Have been all season. They have everything. But Arsenal were another level.
Maybe it’s because I’ve seen how flustered City can be if you actually just attack them.
Mate I’m not the one who took a cheap shot first trying to discredit an opinion. I never said best, just nicest. And I’m not the only one saying it.
Won’t count for naught though if we don’t do enough with it. The CL is where we must prove ourselves.

By Frustrated_me Go To PostThere is no leader at Arsenal, really evident on the pitch.Yeah, I agree. There's no grinta.
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostYeah, I agree. There's no grinta. They need a Puyol, a Ramos, a Gattuso... Anything would be an upgrade, they look like easy cheap hookers out there.

That wasn’t directed at you.
I also think that our current team will never get the respect it may deserve because of the money spent putting it together. I think we’d be appreciated more if Pep managed to do it all on a buck fifty, but because we spent there’s a certain level of distaste about it. That clouds a lot of people’s perspective.
That and the Pep hate, which I’ve never understood.
By FootbalIFan Go To PostDembele is so bad wtfNo, but he's young and just came back from a long ass injury and is still new within the team.
He plays like this is bundesliga or something
He's also a cunt and lazy at times, needs a coach that puts fire under his ass.
People will debate where this season lands when it's all said and done, but obviously these kinds of things look more and more impressive the further away from them you get. As far as a few other opinions though:
By Francis Go To PostYeah, poor baby. No chance you grab a winner in the remaining 30+ minutes.Welcome to la liga
Sorry for sounding like a dick but come on…
By Meier Go To PostBarca look a little listless. They look pretty shit. Without an actual idea what to do.
Paco Jemez, he does it again!
Good motivation for us to win the game at Camp Nou, I hope Prinny continues their run :)

that boy carragher has never watched football outside of the epl, no?

Perfect example of ref mistakes costing teams points. Lahoz disgraced himself and La Liga race is back on.
By Pennywise Go To PostThey look pretty shit. Without an actual idea what to do.I loved watching Dembele play for you all (didn't really see any of him before at Rennes tbh) but he just doesn't look especially impressive yet with Barca. It'll be interesting to see how long of a leash they give him -- they kind of have to given the money committed to him, but if Griezmann comes in during the summer I wonder where that lands him in terms of playing every game.
By Spengo Go To PostDidn't play nearly as good as we should. Yet, the hero of the night is none other than Mateu Lahoz
Las Palmas fought hard and defended the 1-1 very well, you just had no ideas to breakdown their defence and lacked any real imagination.
What is with cules and blaming the referees every single season? When does it end?
The team didn't seem to care enough for this match, no hunger at all. Probably because Atletico match is in 3 days.
By Frustrated_me Go To PostLas Palmas fought hard and defended the 1-1 very well, you just had no ideas to breakdown their defence and lacked any real imagination. The team for sure should have borrowed Zidane's genius strategy when in trouble and cross the ball into the box 100 times, hoping for result.
By Frustrated_me Go To PostLas Palmas fought hard and defended the 1-1 very well, you just had no ideas to breakdown their defence and lacked any real imagination.Because you can make a case that their goalkeeper denied a clear goal scoring opportunity before the half ended, yet the referee decided not to punish the infraction. Yet gave an extremely soft penalty, when you can again argue that Vermaelen was fouled in the build up. And yes these calls do influence matches and seasons and sometimes they do not even themselves out.

By FlutterPuffs Go To PostWell I'm convinced.
By Dan Go To PostCity.Congratulations
I’m moved to tears.

It'll be interesting to see how long of a leash they give him – they kind of have to given the money committed to him, but if Griezmann comes in during the summer I wonder where that lands him in terms of playing every game.I dunno how he could. He's 20 years old and people tend to forget that due the sum. Already being at a new club, within a new league and different tactics would give more than enough explanations for his problems. When you add those two long injuries and his personality of doing what he wants, which Barca enabled even further with how the approached the transfer, you got the reason for the status quo.
If you don't have the patience for a 20 year old, you shouldn't have bought one. Yes the Neymar saga put pressure on Barca, but not like you should be so foolish to expect him to do wonders.
And it's not like he was alone with that today. Barca had two shots on target in the second half and one was from Dembele. No clear idea and unecessary losing the ball from multiple players (Messi,Rakitic,Busquets,Roberto,Dembele) played a far bigger part than individual performances.
Honestly I've got no idea why they even bought him, if they already had Griezmann lined up. Seems like a pretty dumb investment in that case.
In the end, I don't care about him. He made his choice and acted like a foolish little child and deserves every bit of shit that will fly into his direction, if he keeps up with his performances.
By Facism Go To Postyes well done on watching them play football.Maybe he's just trying to get cryingDan.jpeg posted.
By Laboured Go To PostYeah, the post-game NBC broadcast had been mentioning this. Sounds like he maybe just spoke though.
He did speak for quite some time when he came out. The interviewer was doing his best to get at him a bit but he didn't really bite.
By Freewheelin Go To PostSo 5 more wins for City to win the title in April, I think they can get all 5 tbhBold prediction, Cotton.
I agree.
All of those 5 fixtures could be tricky. Everton away has been such a massive bogey for us for years and Spurs away will be very tough. Chelsea and Utd at home should result in some points you'd think. Stoke away is never easy as well. The 5 games after that are all very, very winnable though.
I would take Wenger at Dortmund next season.
Experience, speaks the language and is a good coach. All that freedom at Arsenal basically stopped him from seeing that his time was over and that some new impulse was needed.
Arsenal should just go for Jardim. Build it up again.

As Matt Spiro has said, Jardim would be an interesting one. Clearly a good coach and can get a lot out of youngsters, but apparently he is one of the least charismatic managers out there.

I mean what the fuck do you even say to this the man seems mentally ill.
