It looks like they've decided that they're going to lose and they'll just turn up and take their medicine.
It's only 1-0...so they're executing that plan decently enough.
Shocking plan, I guess.

game getting tense now
Imagine how good City will be when they get Mendy back and can stretch and destroy teams from both sides in equal measure.
And when they sign top level CM this summer.
Jheeze.

By Fergie Go To PostLiverpool with Alisson, Jorginho and Keita would be ridiculous as well.Never seen any of those lads play, tbh.
But they'll have to be amongst the best players in the world to get Liverpool close to City...
Conte was already defeated before even coming to the Eithad. What a lackadaisical approach.
Ederson must be bored.

I’ll understand a reticence to criticise Conte too harshly considering what happened to Astori, but that was fucking pathetic. If Mourinho set a team up like that (or should I say, when he does...) he’d get fucking crucified.
Arsenal loss, Chelsea loss... United only have to beat Palace.
Tomorrow will be worse than Godfather III.

Arsenal only having 5 more points than Burnley with 2 months to go is just a lovely thing, it really is.
Dyche, what a lad.

Crap game. We were poor in the first half and shut up shop once we scored but Chelsea were pathetic and we didn't need to do anymore.
We've a harsh schedule at the moment so I don't mind us phoning it in when we can.

English worm eating legend.
City broke Opta's record of most passes in a Premier League game with 902. That's 15 years of them tracking that particular stat.
Just to put in some extra (needless :P) context how disgraceful Chelsea were. City didn't even play well.

I'm telling you he's mentally ill.
Can't wait to see what us and maybe Chelsea do in the market this summer. Citys distance will force our hands or else you may as well give them next season as well barring injury
Oh yeah Liverpool too. They seem to like spending money

wow
The problem with Arsenal comes down to 3 things:
1/ Poor transfer dealings & incomplete squad with a ****ty bench
2/ Poor defensive shape, coaching and discipline
3/ Fragile mentality
Points 1 & 2 are linked and can be blamed on the board and also on Wenger. Basically, the board has ****ed us with transfers, take 2015 for example, when all we bought was Cech and this summer when we didn't bring in a new defender. What that has led to in the past is the team collapsing when good players get injured and you have dross like Flamini filling in for Arteta. That's why we collapsed in 13/14. Finally the mentality issue can be blamed on Wenger not being a world class man manager who can fire up a team who have lianililiab like Flamini.
Finally, point 2, the lack of proper defensive coaching and shape...well the reality is that Wenger is past it tactics wise and can't keep up with the new managers. Leads to us failing against superior tactics and generally the team getting caught out due to ****ty defensive shape and coaching.
So who do we blame. Well that's easy, Kroenke followed by the board. Wenger is not the person who should feel our wrath. It's the ****ty board and owner.

If Pogba ever got a record like that (or any positive record for that matter), the United fans here would never shut up about it

I don’t think it’s quite that simple. None of the players City bought on an individual level in the summer could have been considered absolutely world class (except possibly Ederson, but you’d still not have said he was the best in the league).
What City did though was bring in players that elevated the players they had to unbelievable levels. Something pretty similar has happened with us too, there’s a reason we’re picking up about half a point more per game after offloading Coutinho and bringing in VVD.
I’m not saying we will definitely push City for the title next season, but I don’t think we need to bring in 4 or 5 £100m players to get close.
