By Laboured Go To PostIdk how the Barca game ended up but man watching them post Messi will be interesting. If you watch the highlights
Edit: just saw what happened and wow yeah :lol
Sevilla, in all seriousness, could have been up 6-0 or so.
Messi came on though

There hasn’t been a consecutive winner of the EPL in 10 years but I would say this current City team would have to fuck up massively not to win next year.
By Pele.gif Go To PostIts amazing how Zabo can be wrong about anything related to Juventus lmaoThat's how jinxing works. And I was right about everything.
just caught up from today's games on the thread. Incredible scenes.
Napoli fucking up again is super frustrating. They were virtually back in the race.
Congrats on the treble, Juve.

I wish I had that power.
I have City as the favorites to win the CL, they can pry apart any team with the exception of maybe a solid Juve defensive setup (on their good day).
They're super quick (I reckon probably the fastest and youngest team in the CL), keep possession really well and if they lose the ball they win it back fast, like a swarm of players fighting to get the ball back. Their players are a class above in their league and most other teams in the CL
- Silva, KDB, Sane, Jesus, Sterling and Aguero are just too good. They kind of remind me of Napoli in the CL from last year but a lot better in every aspect.
The only reason why I think City may not win it is due to their inexperience in the CL, playing big CL games doesn't run in their team, as in they're not known for it. So mentality wise their players may not have what it takes to win it.

When is the next El Clasico? Imagine if Madrid become the only team to beat Barca this season in the league, lol
Messi wont let that happen tho

I know because I've had to play by the jinx rules all of last season, up until the games against the mighty Celta and Malaga.
By Freewheelin Go To PostWhen is the next El Clasico? Imagine if Madrid become the only team to beat Barca this season in the league, lolFirst week of May. Last time Barca Madrid happened in the CL people were fed up of the Clasico matches, there was like 10 of them between the CDR, CL and the league lol. Surprised there is an appetite for it.

Heynckes deserves to win it again. He's the best football coach in a long time, but media and fans barely recognise him. Maybe winning another treble would make a bit more of buzz around him. What a football legend he is
And all that by being a great human bean. Not like other top football coaches around.

Maybe if he had a bigger trophy cabinet he would be recognised more or if he revolutionised the game in some major way.

No chance they're competing with Henderson, Milner and Wijnaldum.

By Francis Go To PostIbra, come back…hard to say though, he was not only recovering from an ACL, but got another injury later. Also Lukaku has been very good for us
:’(
Makes me question why he barely featured for United in the last few months. Weird.
not to mention the defending for both goals were dogshit.
Edit: in his post interview he mentioned he wasnt trying to exert himself because he wasnt sure if his knee would hold up, so that would best explain why.
By Frustrated_me Go To PostHoly shit I'm fucking dying here rofl
Fuck man. Right in the feels.
Remember Negredo?
He was immense until his injury.
