Or Kai> Battle of Gods> Resurrection F> DB Super from episode 20ish.

Because animation is always fundamentally dubbed in some way, even if the original cast did mo-cap or whatever, so it's possible to find a better cast in another language, and barely get any lip-sync issues that can be found in live action where there's a clear perception that the actor isn't the one who's talking.

For film or television, subtitling alters the interaction itself. The consideration becomes: which alteration is better, the subbing, which will alter your focus, or the dubbing, which will alter the original integrity of the work.

Moreover, though, in the case of something like DragonBall Z particularly there's also the consideration of familiarity. If someone first encountered it as a child in a particular way, that memory, provided it's still intact, will affect that person's current appreciation. A sub, for example, might sound 'wrong', thus impinging upon that person's experience.

Usually the movies get the better dubs. Can't even blame the majority of studios. Imagine you have to hire somebody for 200+ episodes or even 100. You won't pick someone from top of the food chain.

Dragon ball is a rare case of the 2d characters actually having real voices. Every time you watch a dubbed dragon Bailey, goku gets cheated out of money. The acting guild is on it though.

I remember when they changed voices for chuckie in rugratz in denmark. Was a horrible time and I struggled to follow the plot points when he was involved since.

Presentation, yes, but technical can build well over 100 with the men in the free skate.

Technical is based upon preset values for the difficulty of the elements performed as well as a grade of execution score for each element ranging from -3 to +3.

Dragon Ball Z Kai = Goku as an adult with those characters he met in DB

Dragon Ball Super = Continuation of the story

The giant bomb twats have been watching dbz kai, its their first time watching anything dragon ball and they have a podcast episode for every 7 eps they watch or so. They're enjoying it from the sounds of it but i cant do podcasts so couldn't listen to them for more than a 10 minutes.
