I want Martial to be always on mentally and he simply doesn't do that. Learn how to make off the ball runs and find space. If you don't play it to his feet he may as well not be there because he's rarely going to do anything else. He's my favorite player of the whole team but he's infuriating to watch because he's mentally switched off 70% of the time.
Edit: maybe this is because I was spoiled by CR7 but one of the things that will forever stick in my mind after seeing him in person is that was literally always trying to get open and find space. You could stick 2 guys on him and he'd just get loose and make himself available.

Not enough movement from everyone else around to get some 1-2 going.) or be always mentally on in the turgid display of football currently carried out by Manchester United Football Club. Too many players succumb to it.

Admittedly I didnt care about Martial last season at all. Also a little worried about his ex wife, who has stirred shit, and could stir another one again leading to another drop in performance.

He is a lazy player, there is no two ways around that and likely will only work in a team where he is not expected to work that hard, like I said there is no doubting his talent but I dont see how he works in a system where the people have to put the yards in. For all peoples gripes with Sanchez I am not ready to criticise him yet because he is trying, he is always working, output isnt great but id start him over Martial any day.

Young players go missing at times. This happens. Not to mention he played in a highly defensive system in LVG first year and still was our best player.
As much as I’m enjoying this performance, this Bilbao side is washed. Feel sorry for Kepa, playing with 10 mannequins.
