By FlutterPuffs Go To PostMitchy's so good. How many goals has he scored in the Bundesliga?5 in the league and 2 within the EL.
I can see why it didn't work out with him due Conte and his system, but he's a really good striker with alot of potential still being untapped. They really need a coach who's taking advantage of that and play more attacking footy.

Chelsea was a fairly attacking side last season and he still failed completely. While Conte certainly showed him no confidence, which transferred to his quality on the pitch, it's too easy just to blame him or the system. Michy himself has at least as much blame for how little he has played, as he way too often would look completely uninterested in the matches and be unable to hold up even the easiest pass, until a teamm8 was there to pass.
I think just being the #1 forward helped him a lot in the end.

Not like he played well here every game either, he already had 3 pretty shitty games, but mostly when he wasn't included in any attacking game.
I just think he could make a good impact at Chelsea with the right inclusion into the squad. Well, we're gonna see what happens next.
The confidence and the trust from the coach and the team certainly played a role.
By Kermit Go To PostFor reals? You actively want him gone? Jeez.Yes. It's a waste of time from here on out, will just become increasingly destructive.
I don’t think he’s the right fit for United. You’re too prestigious a club to be dabbling with bitter, classless, childish and overtly negative managers like he.
Mourinho’s teams thrived when he was able to build that us-against-the world mentality that made them tight-knit and formidable. That’s hard to do when all your players think you’re a cunt.
Time to cut losses.
By Elchele Go To PostToprak, what a signingUnder Stöger he is stable and among the better players usually. Just wasn't made to stay up that high as he isn't fast enough and Bosz didn't acknowledge that.
Akanji was a great signing so far and I think Sokratis might be done after this season due his contract running out next year.
I still think Mou will stay another year and will leave a fair bit better team than what he inherited.

I hope you get rid of mou and end up 7th again begging for him to come back.
He's not above criticism sure, but like he said you 7th, getting dumped out of CL group stages, and teams like Stoke and Swansea would turn up not only hoping they would do you over, but actually doing it.
Think he's progressed you enough as a club in terms of league positioning to deserve airing out players without the fans turning on him. He's absolutely right as well go call it out if thats what he sees.
It's not that I actively want Mou to leave. I really like him, but he's a walking timebomb.
Mou has improved the club a lot when he came in. We wouldn't have had the gravitas to pull off the big name transfers if he wasn't managing.
But theres a likely chance of the environment in the club to turn sour.

He can't wait.

But as always he's at the point where he will start bringing a toxic environment in to the place. Turn people against each other, split the fans, etc.
Got no time for that. He can't accept he fucked up against Seville. All he needed to say was it's not good enough and we'll do better next year. But no he's turned it into some kind of crisis where everything at the club is fucked up and hes helpless. Which is complete BS.

By Ashwinho Go To PostSo looking at CL.Somehow this isn't the worst timeline.
QF
Barca vs Roma
Liverpool vs Man City
Real Madrid vs Juventus
Sevilla vs Bayern

Bayern vs Real Madrid
Final : Barca 3-2 R.Madrid.
Scum, Inky. Its happening
By inky Go To PostSomehow this isn't the worst timeline.Wouldn’t the worst timeline be women being burned alive for witchcraft anyway?
If Martial leaving means we are getting an actual right winger then by Allah's will we should let him go.
By Vivalapizza Go To PostIt's not really about the results. He's done a decent job.We always expected him to become this, but Viva is right that he was at a point, with the Chelsea and Liverpool matches still fresh in our memories, where he could have taken some responsibility for the result and he didn't. He decided to escalate it against his players.

I think comparing this situation to his last Chelsea stint is disingenuous. They were champions, and they came back disinterested, lazy and some even overweight. The minute he left they "miraculously" turned it around and became champions again the following season. It's fair to say those players did at least betray some of his work as he put it. Not to say he was completely blameless, just as our players aren't in this situation, but it's not really the same level of "betrayal".
It's hard to admit Viva is right this much ;P, and even though I was happy with his renewal and have defended his tenure for this long, he turned it around pretty fast this time. The Sevilla blunder and his failure to adapt Sanchez and Pogba back into the squad together with not taking responsibility for any of it is gonna be hard to come back from. Still think horse is right and he'll be around next season. Now it's just about not fucking up second place and having a more dignified exit in the FA Cup.
By Laboured Go To PostHe was amazing in January, definitely our best LW.
Then Mou goes out and buys Sanchez for that position. Just mental.
He talks a big game about the players at in this squad yet has a soft spot for some shite. Especially Smalling and Fellaini.
Oh, and I'm surprised no one posted our defender's (Pumas) arm break during yesterday's match. You can see the full bone and all...
On a serious note, talent aside, has anyone seen Martial work for 90 minutes and bust his ass off? Perhaps you can come up with 1 or 2 examples, but he doesnt have it in his locker consistently and he doesnt want to have it either.

I just think you'd rather have James Milner play on our wings m8.

If he does his job for 60-70 minutes, that's why you have subs for.
If José even entertains the idea of letting Martial go then he needs to hand in his resignation ASAP.
Not having it.

By Laboured Go To PostI just think you'd rather have James Milner play on our wings m8.Id prefer a winger and not a sulking bored "Ill score for a few games then go missing for 10" winger, I dont get the love for Martial when he just doesnt put the work in, I really dont, he seems to represent every problem the current team has which is "Looks bored, doesnt really want to work, mentally weak, occasional brilliance to remind you there is talent there".

I think the opposite. I think we have too many players who consistently lack tangible talent but run about a bit to try and hide it and make it look like they care.
Martial was the brightest spot in that FA cup winning season under LVG.
Put some respek on his name.
Put some respek on his name.
Sorry Cola, I have to disagree with you there.
He had a horrid second season with us because of problems with his wife, yes, but when he has his head on straight he's one of our best players, even though he goes missing at times.
If he's really poor mentally he would have been shit during the LVG season.
