By Laboured Go To PostI was half expecting worse.Would expect him to not play until the end of April at the earliest. Will miss the Chelsea and City games. Hopefully he can be back in time for the FA cup semi if we make it through
Yeah United needs more than 4, but we don't have oil money.
Like domino said, at least Fosu is doing really well, Tuanzebe could deputize. No idea what we will do with Andreas Pereira though. I think he's good but I'd rather bet on McTominay.
Darmian, Blind, Fellaini, Carrick, Ibra, Smalling will leave.

Spurs can probably keep top 4 without him but it'll be a battle for sure -- the Chelsea game in particular might be the decider more or less. Their final few games look largely easy though so if they get past these next few they'll be okay.
This UYL City v Liverpool game has been pretty good. The Liverpool keeper looks like a solid prospect.

Whenever a big club is looking remotely bad, fans always seem determined to discard half the team and sign 20 new players. This despite the fact that the current players will normally have them in a good position in the table, and the fact that mass turnover pretty much always ends in disaster.
At Liverpool, Klopp lifted the team to the CL places largely through 2 signings, Mane and Wij. This year Salah has been the overwhelming contributor to Liverpool's improvement. at city, for all the Money they spent it has really just been Walker and Ederson who have made the difference. At Spurs, Poch made no real key signings in his first year, Alli and Aldewiereld in the second, Wanyama in the third alongside Son getting good, and Sanchez this season.

By Laboured Go To PostShocking news article of the day.Would help if we didn’t overpay some of them.
Hard to clear them out when they want similar pay wherever they’re going.
By Kermit Go To PostNot happy about it personally.

A.) the shirts are absurdly tight and frankly I can't imagine I'll buy any of them in turn, and b.) it's Puma. Who cares about Puma? Nike is the name brand in sports.. on a global scale, you definitely want to be associated with them ahead of any competitor. Puma's global revenue was about 1/10th of Nike last year. They are a nothing company in comparison -- even Adidas only do about half the revenue of Nike. You'd have to think that Nike would be willing to come close to matching the offer, but even if they came in slightly lower, I'd still stick with them.
I wouldn't lock myself in to any deals until the end of the season as well as you can surely negotiate with more strength if you win the Champions League.
Puma actually makes cool kits but eh, Nike is Nike.
Puma also getting AC Milan from next season I think, end of an era.
Think that pretty much all the old contracts from my childhood have ran out, except curiously PSG.

nike also clearly tries the hardest on PSG's gear (been that way since i started buying a lot of jerseys in 2011 at least). i dont see them breaking up anytime soon

By domino Go To Postnike also clearly tries the hardest on PSG's gear (been that way since i started buying a lot of jerseys in 2011 at least). i dont see them breaking up anytime soonInterestingly enough, I remember being a kid and seeing someone wearing a PSG kit casually and it was pretty much the first time I was seeing someone doing that. Probably because of that Nike logo. This is back in the day when they still used the full logo, not just the swoosh. So it goes way back.
Soon after there was Arsenal and Inter, Brazil and Barça and so the story went. The United contract was a big deal back then, announced maybe a couple of years in advance, not sure there has been anything as big since. There are rumors of Real Madrid these days but it’s probably just smoke. Adidas will pay up whatever they have to (unless they saw an opportunity to get Barça).

Carragher is a fucking moron
It's pretty clear cut. Just because some dude made fun of him, you don't fucking spit on a child. He's not a 5 year old but a grown ass man. They teach you this kind of shit in kindergarten man...
He should be fired. But he's one of two good pundits on TV so he won't. We'll forget about this next week.
By Meier Go To PostThe Liverpool keeper looks like a solid prospect.Kamil Grabara is his name. One to watch in the future I suspect (probably at another club of course).

I feel ya H man. Take it slow and do your rehab and you shall be ok. Call me if you need tips.
Did he spit on the kid, or did his spit hit the kid. Sounds like the latter really.
Hope the best for Harry Kane. I always root for England (mostly because I used to only watch EPL matches when I was a kid)

Guessing he spat on the kid cause they would be sitting in the passenger seat.
By Zabojnik Go To Postbut what about the fatigue urban myth lad?
I could get used to Juve playing every 3 days indefinitely. Bring me Atalanta's scalp.

From the rumors I read, apparently the Nike - Madrid deal involves Neymar, somehow. These rumors have been picking up quite the steam as of late, so much so that PSG owners are in Brazil to a) ensure Neymar is Ok and b) confirm Neymar is staying.
Who knows.
madrid will be fine as long as they don't stick a huge chevrolet logo in their jerseys
they'll die in that case
they'll die in that case
By batong Go To PostWhat is this sorcery. He's highly regarded at the club so we shall see, innit. He might be, but we all know how difficult it is to get in as a keeper at a big club. Can't be more than a snowball's chance he becomes a notable player at Liverpool proper without making his name elsewhere and possibly coming back in awhile. This applies to Grimshaw with City as well (let alone Gunn).

By FlutterPuffs Go To PostAgree with Meier. People like Donnarumma is a one off.I can only think of two keepers that have come through a top club academy and played a lot of games in the past 20 years - Hart and Sczezny.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostNever even heard of them. Will check it out, thanks. The former host of Football Weekly, James/Jimbo Richardson, left to start his own show. It is good and I think FW has remained quite good as well so it worked out nice for me. I generally only listen to these two shows as I just don't really have the time to listen to more than 4 episodes of football podcasts a week. Football Ramble is entertaining, but it's more akin to Men in Blazers as I'd classify it as a variety show just as much as a football show.
