By Bungie Go To PostDistro’d the last jediWatched it yesterday. I don't know if it's because I was watching it with someone who absolutely hated it or what, but this second viewing left me far less impressed (and I wasn't *that* impressed to begin with). The first 60-80mins especially, the casino segment ... without the magic of the silver screen, it all kind of slid down a slope. Unlike what the second viewing of BR2049 did for me, confirming its goat-ish status.
Quality end to a perfect Sunday
My memory hasn’t been kind to TLJ. I remember it less and less fondly, and I wasn’t super impressed on first viewing. I can’t even remember what it was I thought was good...
I liked the prequels (episode 1, 2 and 3). Fight me. I love the politics, the mystique and the setting of it all.
I also think the best Star Wars is Star Wars: The Clone Wars (animated series), if you disagree it's either a) you have shit taste or b) you haven't seen it.
Rogue One was better than TLJ, TFA was okay I guess. I mean I love all Star Wars but these new one's don't quite capture the magic at all.
Of course ESB is a classic.

The prequels have some decent ideas in them but fuck me everything in that trilogy is just so poorly written/acted/directed. I mean, fair enough, ANH was pretty much saved by the editing team but you at least had some memorable characters with fun dialogue and who at least tried to act well.
The best thing TLJ did was move the universe forward, I honestly have no idea whats going to happen in 9 and that's a good thing.

By Zabojnik Go To PostI, for one, always believed in Internazionale FC.Zabo pls
If we nick 3 points vs. Atalanta midweek, then yeah, we'll have a substantial advantage going forward. 11 matches to go still tho, and we play Roma and Inter away, so it's not over yet, no matter what you cunts say. It depends on whether Napoli will fold after two negative results or not.
Congratulations, incredible achievment
9 in a row is where it will end, MAYBE 10.
Meanwhile in figure skating, with Hanyu injured and Fernandez retiring, which of the men will win the world championships in Milano?

I can't imagine TLJ being as rewatchable as TFA
TFA played it very safe, but is a much more enjoyable film. TLJ made some bold decisions and the result was an unexpected SW experience, but that doesn't mean the film is great or anything, and I do think it was less enjoyable than the previous one

i'm still floored that it was ever greenlit.
PAOK:s owner stormed the field after their goal (1-0 90') was disallowed when they met AEK, armed with a handgun.
Fucking hell.
Fucking hell.
Some rather disgraceful comments and unprofessional behaviour from Sarri during the post-match interviews. He is what he is and isn't going to change @ 60yo, but it might be time for some of these so called sports journalists to stop licking his arse and call him out on it. There's "rustic" and then there's shit like saying "you're a woman and you're pretty, which is why I won't tell you to fuck off" in response to a perfectly normal question.
EDIT: Well, his tone suggest he was (semi) joking about it, but still. Not his greatest evening communication-wise.

Morata is also suspended for 2 games after he caught his 10th yellow of the season last game (should've been sent off). And we called Costa undisciplined.
Garth Crooks:
The times I've heard complete numbskulls suggest Chris Smalling is not good enough for Manchester United. Well, that particular prognosis was kicked into touch again against Liverpool. His interventions were immense and without him United would have suffered. This is a lad who was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson, played under David Moyes, Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho and they can't all be wrong.

Should've never left Juve. The role of CL power sub / occasional Serie A starter suited him best.
Legit there is something in the water at the Academy of Light, it turns all our managers into fucking frothing idiots.

He'd rebuild around Honeyman even if we were in PL. Go away. The pair of them can just go away and suck each other off in some Welsh valley and stay there forever.

I don't understand why he thinks he's top 5 striker material, he's not. I'm not even sure he's top 10.

Whatever, it was already a pleasure and you could have hardly done more justice to BR. Given that I watched alot of series I once adored being butchered by a continuation after years, there isn't enough praise for Villeneuve.
Chris Carter fucked up X-Files (allthough the quality already took a dive after season 5-6 in the original run) and David Lynch with Twin Peaks S3 (Not entirely bad per se, but so many bad decisions and overall just a letdown).
It's nearly 5 in the morning, I have just watched 8 episodes of Love in a row and I am smiling.
Probably my favourite season of the show, there are some plot points that never went anywhere and that gave the impression that they rushed the ending a bit but I loved how they finished the show.

One is a noun and the other is a verb (in their common context).

Jose is annoyed with VAR because he had a goal disallowed when a knee was a milimetre offside.
So VAR is doing its job and he is pissed lol.
I hope we get to the point soon when VAR just automatically says onside or offsidr and removes the human equation.
A milimetre offside is still offside.
