What a team goal.
Watching Kolasinac there makes me wince. Pub player.
By Laboured Go To PostAs Matt Spiro has said, Jardim would be an interesting one. Clearly a good coach and can get a lot out of youngsters, but apparently he is one of the least charismatic managers out there.Jardim is an excellent choice, and I've said so for a long time. He's not unlike a young(er) Wenger. I don't believe the transition period would create much of a hoodoo either - which is a huge plus.

Let Jardim focus on footy and give him some decent players. Not like they're gonna spend City money, but they could get alot of promising youngsters that actually help the team, instead of just youngsters that will be loaned to a different club.

He could be great, probably worth a try. As a fan I'd be concerned about the board's intentions though. They'd likely be getting him on the premise that he'd be fine with them fucking off the team's best talent consistently.

Aresenal's problem is at board level and they are why Wenger has been allowed to continue.
I expect they'd get one of Kroenke's boys in to suffocate the transfer money flow at every turn.

Possibly, but I saw it mentioned in an Independent article by Jack Pitt-Brooke I think.
I never saw that City win coming.
In all honesty, came out of Black Panther and Northern Line was half-packed (just like the stadium) with Arsenal fans, and when one guy said 'they all look miserable' I knew the outcome lmao.

By Frustrated_me Go To PostLas Palmas fought hard and defended the 1-1 very well, you just had no ideas to breakdown their defence and lacked any real imagination.:lol
What is with cules and blaming the referees every single season? When does it end?
We played bad, the ref robbed us, and some people have "binary brains" that they can't get that 2 things can be true at same time.
By Mushroom Go To PostAre we three down yet?lads
By Laboured Go To PostI wouldn't take Weigl into the plans currently either. Dude hasn't had a good game since his injury last season.
Meanwhile some journalist made a list with possible candidates as coach for Dortmund next season :
Hannes Wolf (without a team)
Our former U17, U19 and U23 youth coach who did amazingly well there.
Had his first experience with Stuttgart, got them into the first league again, but decided to step down as the team wasn't playing that well and they we're in danger to get into the relegation zone.
Well known and universially liked by both the club and the fans, but still pretty inexperienced and it would be a big task for a 36 year old.
Niko Kovac (Frankfurt)
Helped Frankfurt to avoid relegation and slowly turned them into an EL/CL candidate, doing pretty damn well over there. Allthough it remains to be seen, if he can pull that off with a different team.
Also pretty young and inexperienced.
Nagelsmann (Hoffenheim)
Did incredible well with Hoffenheim, but is struggling now after they lost 3 players to Bayern and not getting any signings.
Hasenhüttl (Leipzig)
Mainly speculation as Leipzig could replace him, if he doesn't extend his contract that runs until 2019.
Can't see the fans accepting him due his time at Leipzig.
Lucien Favre (Nice)
We tried to get him before Bosz, but they didn't want to let him go and I kinda doubt we would try it again. Great coach, but also a complicated personality.
Andre Villas-Boas
Mainly speculation because he recently gave an interview that he would take a job within the Bundesliga, he already had offers in the past and he's open for everything now. Learning German isn't so easy, but he's trying it.
No idea honestly. Haven't really followed him closely.
Wenger
Already said enough above.
Simeone
Mainly speculation due and interview he gave in the past, that he would be willed to go into the Bundesliga.
Fans would love him for sure, but I doubt he would take the offer as he can select whatever he likes.
I'm really scared we're making the wrong decision again.
Everything after Klopp was a letdown, especially the Tuchel aftermath is still there...
By FootbalIFan Go To PostDembele is so bad wtfHe was brought on in the worst moment of the game. Given 15 mins, when Las Palmas were sitting in front of their own box. Needed him to have the space Vidal had in 1st half.

Spitting foam with rage because people believe objectively better football teams played nicer football. If you watched football in 2003 you’d understand.
City are amazing. Have been all season. They have everything. But Arsenal were another level.
Maybe it’s because I’ve seen how flustered City can be if you actually just attack them.
Step 2. People disagree
Step 3. Kermit responds to those who disagree calling them jealous or envious
Step 4. People respond in detail, sometimes with evidence to back them up

Ancelotti could also be worth a short punt. He usually does very well with squads down in the dumps.

Players are regressing
Their defense is a mess
Their goalkeeper is old and needs to be replaced
Their midfield is mediocre
Now they have a good head of recruitment in Sven Mislintat but they seem intent on keeping Wenger for another year. Even if they decide not to, the new one will be left with one hell of an upheaval to make. Thanks to the inflation seen this season on players, I'm not sure if they have the money to buy the players they need. Maybe they have to do a Monaco or Southampton for the next few years.

Lacazette, Auba, Mikhi and maybe Kola and Ozil are all secure.
Everyone else must go, they should reinvest at least 300-500m dollars in the team and maybe just maybe they can compete again. Wenger must go too. Its an absolute shambles at that football club. Arsenal represented progressive aggressive football, with a dynamic squad and a tough backbone at one point in the past. They are no longer at the forefront of tactics, they lack bite and dynamism. Its all one dimensional football coming from a team who used to play anything but. Possession used to be their fallback, but now they do nothing with it, and they have become uncomfortably sloppy with the ball its bordering on a joke.
The club used to be the home to legitimate footballing legends and now players see it as a stepping stone to greater things, the invincibles were followed up by a squad which I still believe had the potential to be a threat in England and Europe, but poor management and lack of quality investments created a stagnant club which only served the board members and not the squad or fans. RVP, Fabregas departures were the major indicators of a club that did not care anymore, they were lured away by promises of trophies and squads filled with winners.
Wenger's insistance on retaining players that have no business playing at a club of Arsenals stature is what will remain his undoing. Players who season after season only did the minimal and never improved significantly, who were paid extortionate amounts of money for being bang average.
"He is still young he will come good"
Is no longer enough at the highest echelons of footballs elite.

Looks like a Saturday’s night at the Pig. It’s still my favourite chant we’ve ever done.
Ps. On the CityTV highlights, you can actually hear the camera shutters go off at the Emirates every time we took a shot on goal. That’s how quiet the joint was. Never encountered that before.
Not since our last trip to Old Trafford anyway.

Jardim is a good choice since he could develop youth to fill in the squad as older players are replaced and from what I've seen he can get a team playing some good footy. But again the board needs to change, as soon as 4th place is secured I can see them being satisfied.
Man, can't imagine how heated the fans that go to all the games must feel. Unless you're making money like our boy Robbie, you're better pff doing something else with your life.

things are bad, but i don't think they're so bad that the entire squad save a few players needs to be replaced.
a new manager and a couple of new players would be enough to kickstart things.

Want Wenger to move to another club and win the league before he retires.
Maybe he'll end up as France manager after the world cup.

I can see a lot of last minute deals, failed transfers with the new transfer window date in effect, as well as the world cup possibly delaying many talks.
And as the aforementioned inflated transfer fees.
