In another stunning example of Katt Williams being right again ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCzCseQKWaw ), you gotta get you some White friends. You're gonna need them to continue being token landlords, it would seem.

Per a yearlong analysis of 31 million records by Reveal News ( https://www.revealnews.org/article/for-people-of-color-banks-are-shutting-the-door-to-homeownership/ ), a total of 61 metropolitan areas revealed the epidemic "redlining" of Black and Hispanic mortgage applicants, which is when they are routinely denied loans even when controlling for applicants' income, loan amount, and neighborhood.

That means that even when all things are equal, the banks are making sure all things are not equal.

African Americans faced the most resistance in Southern cities – Mobile, Alabama; Greenville, North Carolina; and Gainesville, Florida – and Latinos in Iowa City, Iowa.

“I had a fair amount of savings and still had so much trouble just left and right,” said Rachelle Faroul, a 33-year-old black woman who was rejected twice by lenders when she tried to buy a brick row house close to Malcolm X Park in Philadelphia, where African Americans were 2.7 times as likely as whites to be denied a conventional mortgage.

The analysis has been independently reviewed and confirmed by The Associated Press.

Tell me, again, why did we bail the banks out again? So they could continue the rampant and systemic segregation and disenfranchisement of American citizens?
