The people have spoken.
Modern day Mussolini? Sounds like the perfect fit.
Wtf happened at Watford lads? I come home from the perfect Date, no phone interference at all. Turn on my wifi when I get home and I see this shit?
Chelsea letting us off the hook for the Spurs game I see. Arsenal may have one hurdle too many, but Spurs are gonna make this top 4 race a heart attack
By Punished Go To PostWow, Conte sacked?

By inky Go To PostTranslation: Bakayoko, Cahill, Pedro, Fabregas, David Luiz, and Willian are shite.
Okay then stop fucking playing them. Running into the exact same problem Mourinho had and persisting with shite when it's shown time and time again it doesn't work. Instead of it being Ivanovic, this time it's Cahill et al. Bakayoko I'll be lenient to since he's had some great moments early on and it's his first season. But the constant shoehorning of Cahill into the lineup is utterly inexcusable when Rudiger is fit on the bench. Willian, Fabregas, and Pedro were useless today that I can't fathom Hudson-Odoi or whoever else being worse and it makes Kenedy going off on loan legitimately annoying to me. They knew we were in an injury crisis and still let players go and didn't buy a new attacking player (Barkley doesn't count).
Try something new ffs, that's all I ask. Bothers the hell out of me when our managers stick to the same tactics despite them failing time and time again.
If Hazard leaves in the summer I do not blame him at all. He is too good for us.
Bakayoko has had a nightmare spell as of late, but I remain convinced he will come good in due course. Too talented not to succeed. I guess the question is whether he'll be given that time at Chelsea - or won't.
For now the bench suffices. Needs dropping from their main XI (along with other misfits) first and foremost.

Premier League: Winter break under discussion before new TV deal

I feel winter breaks would benefit the top teams and reduce the chances of big upsets that tend to happen in congested times. On the other hand, it’ll keep the best players fit longer, so more entertainment.

I don't/wouldn't mind a January break. The return could be the weekend of the FA Cup 3rd Round to bring a bit of excitement back to that too.
Oh and give certain clubs an extra weekend of "rest" xd

True. Most people only give a shit about the charity shield because it kicks off the season, could see it having a similar effect on the FA cup
wouldn't it work the other way? a more congested schedule would favour the teams with most depth, which typically comes from wealth. the break seems more important for teams which can't afford that depth.
1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th - CL footy
FA Cup winners, 5th & 6th - EL footy
Throw EPL teams out of the Carabao Cup.
Spread fixtures out properly.
Make a big deal of the FA Cup weekend. I demand a Saturday 3pm kickoff for all the 3rd round fixtures.

My opinion is that the congested schedule hurts big teams more. Big teams who play expansive football vs lower teams who sit back and absorb pressure expend a lot of energy and effort to do so. Most of the big upsets come around this time of year because smaller teams who have nothing to lose can rely on Arsenal, Liverpool etc. to start to dull around the winter, and if you can prevent Arsenal or Liverpool from scoring, you’re guaranteed to have a chance to win the game.
If they kick the EPL teams out of the Caribou Cup it ceases to be called that, it would probably become the Tesco Store Value Line Cup or the Jaffa Cakes Cup. Please understand.
Then how would these enterprising sponsors conspire to fuck over the smallest teams with their draw? Little known fact, we actually went out to Bristol City as a form of protest m8. Give the small clubs a chance and all that.

I find Conte to be refreshingly frank
“I’m not worried about my job,” he added. “I work every day and I give 120%. OK? If this is enough, it’s OK. Otherwise the club can take a different decision. But I’m not worried.
“ My conscience is clear. I go to sleep without a problem that maybe, maybe, I could do this or that. I try to do everything. If it’s not good, the club can make a different decision. Life goes on. For sure, this is a difficult moment. If we want to find excuses, alibis, we can find everything. Tiredness, injuries... but this is not my way to face the situation, to solve the problem.
“The problems you have to solve with work. You don’t win with excuses. In my life, I like to be a winner, and I’m a winner. Now it’s very difficult to predict turning this situation into a positive, but I can promise to work to change it. But, I repeat, the level of our performance was very poor.”

I'm not sure what I feel about Conte anymore, to be honest.
I loved him last season, gushed about Chelsea but how they conceded 3 goals in 7 minutes last night was extraordinary. Watford got through their midfield and defense without much resistance, with nary an attempt by Chelsea's players to get the ball.
How much was it was due to Conte, or the players? They played with 10 people but these are supposed to be players who are the cream of the crop in the EPL, but didn't even look championship level.
Starting to wonder how the players feel about Conte this season.

Samuel Luckhurst has crap opinions, but he has his sources.
I remember when he blasted everyone for thinking Fabinho was a sure target for United because briefings and sources told him differently. We gave him shit about it too.
Turned out he was right. It was a spin by Juventus when they couldnt sign him from Monaco.

By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostJuve were linked with Fabinho????Yep. They backed off. DiMarzio got bad info from his Juventus insider that it was because United was leading the chase, which turned out to be the spin I mentioned.

Gaitan to United, Benzema to Arsenal, a good goalkeeper to Liverpool...
