By batong Go To PostFor him to go down like that, yes it was a dive.
imagine getting kicked by van dijk, batong.
van dijk is a big guy.
it must've been extremely painful.
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostSomeone needs to do something about Alli though. He's getting more and more undisciplined.Fuck him, why should we care?
Just give him all the rope to hang himself.
By Oddinho Go To PostSpurs controlled the game in the second half and our midfield completely dissipated.
But for a result to be fair, it has to consider the manner in which it was achieved. You can't be proud of your team for that.
I mean it was a penalty and we scored it, so yes I’m proud.
I’m not proud of Alli diving every week and I had hoped the manager would slap it out of him by now but he doesn’t seem to care
By batong Go To PostFor him to go down like that, yes it was a dive.
That isn’t how dives work, stop being facetious. Every single player exaggerates contact. Doesn’t mean there wasn’t contact.
By bud Go To Postthere is actual moving footage of van dijk kicking lamela, and he's still saying it was a dive.
i just… i don't know.
it isn't a dive. it's just way way overexaggerating the contact.
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostSomeone needs to do something about Alli though. He's getting more and more undisciplined.
Alli will never change, like Suarez and Costa being a twat is part of his game.
The diving he needs to stop because it’s affecting referees but the general twattery is fine.
He doesn't kick him, he retracts his leg, Lamela isn't even moving toward the ball, he runs into Van Dijk and falls over like his life force has just been siphoned out of him.
I mean it's clear at this point that Spurs players can feel someone's breath from the bench and think that's enough contact to fall over, but there's a reason the official who is a few feet away from the incident immediately waves it away.
Is there a reason he goes back on his decision to listen to the linesman instead? That's the mystery here.

Fuck Spurs cheating fucks
Fuck the ref, you blind piece of shit
Fuck Klopp for letting VVD play the entire match knowing he isn't fully match fit.
Fuck the PL for hiring fucking piece of shitty ref.

3rd time this weekend.
By inky Go To PostFuck him, why should we care?you dont, I do.

I like good players, even if they're on the opposing team. I want some of them to succeed, when they have all the talent in the world.
Linesman in a better position and looked certain it was a pen? Are we criticising the referee for listening to his linesmen now?
I don’t know understand why we’re even talking about the second one.
If you don’t think it’s a foul then go to the bathroom, stick your head under the cold tap and come back and watch it again

Oh and Souness is off his tits about Kane's first pen. Nothing wrong with putting it down the middle. GK just guessed right.
By Kidjr Go To PostIncredible to think spurs cheated there way back lol
The pen there was a dive for... I mean, I see Shanks’ argument here. If Kane doesn’t jump, Karius takes him out. Is it a dive? Yes. Would it have been a pen if Kane didn’t dive? Yes.
And it was fucking missed :lol
id like to point out the ref ignored the linesman when he said it wasnt a pen but paid attention to him calling a pen he didnt see

OK wrong body position at the wrong time and wrong place. Its still a penalty.

How often do you see linesmen's ruling taking precedence over the referee when the referee has seen the incident and judged it?
I mean not 10 minutes earlier, you saw the referee conferring with the linesman who must have seen Kane offside, only for the John Moss to overrule him and go with his initial decision.
Bad luck, I guess that he listened to the wrong person in both cases.

It is not something to criticise whether he listens or not, it’s the ref’s prerogative. We’re getting into #CityConspiracy territory here, lad.

Lamela jumps in front of him as he is about to kick the ball. He was already winding up to kick the ball before he got there. Not a pen.
VVD definitely hit Lamela, grazing him and sliced open his thigh so cleanly that there was no blood, but unbearable pain.
By Elchele Go To Postyou really hate truth m8Yeah I enjoy that wonderful creation that was supposed to help the refs and instead it destroys the fluid game, is also full of false decisions and there is no clear line when they're using it.
It's just shit and I hope they get rid of it, unless they somehow manage to get shit done properly.
Current VAR form is just trash.
Lol. Imagine anyone watching those big decisions and not thinking they were correct.
Alli dives: Yellow
Kane not offside because Lovren touches the ball, contact from Karius: Pen
Salah not offside: Goal
VVD kicks Lamela up the arse: Pen
Suck your mums

If I thought he was intentionally trying to skew the result or give one team an advantage, it'd be #CityConspiracy territory. I think John Moss is just fucking incompetent, and that Spurs are dirty cheats.

He kicked him (and he could have pulled out like Lovren did for the Alli dive). There does not need to be intent. It's still a foul, because he kicked him.
By Arnie Go To PostThe more and more I see it the softer I think it looks tbh.Yeah, of course it was, it's an accidental foul.

Sorry, I know that post was mean. But it's also true. Factually, Spurs are cheaters, and he did in fact type "suck your mums" on his keyboard and press submit

To act like you were playing against 13 is farcical.
Maybe suck your mums was unnecessary, but it's pretty much a joke where I grew up.

Dude jumped in front of him as he is about to kick the ball. At the speed Lamela came around the corner there is no way he could have pulled out.

Him or Ederson.
By n8 dogg Go To PostIt’s soft. It’s still a pen.I agree, fwiw
But yea, soft as shit.
Still hope Jurgen nails Jon Moss. Absolute cretin of a man.
Need something from Watford tomorrow. Is TClev fit?
Liverpool vs Spurs
Managers shouldn't behave like clowns before the final whistle.
United
General points about the progression of the team:
- We need to bin Smalling immediately and we need to find a way of getting ball playing centre backs into the team. Right now Bailly is the only one who is competent defending and playing football. It totally holds us back from building attacks from deep and makes us very prone to the press.
- Good management from Mourinho this week in terms of dropping players etc.
- We are very static in the final third. That game just now you see constant movement by players across the attacking line. Our players never do that.
- I don't like how Sanchez has been put in at LW in place of Martial and CAM in place of Lingard. Those two have been in good form. Sanchez should play RW and show how good he is before we dislodge players who need confidence to continue their development.

‘the corner’
By Laboured Go To PostThe first is arguably a pen because Lovren's touch may constitute deliberate under the rules. In the prem it's considered deliberate. He sticks his foot out to do something with the ball. Just because it doesn't connect well enough, or go where he wants, doesn't make it less deliberate.
By Oddinho Go To PostMaybe the linesman saw contact between Moss' lips and a water bottle and overruled his decision becahse he knew better
Probably accurate.
