I'm a Zelda fan. Love the series, I think Mario games are mediocre.
Also Nioh >>>> Bloodborne / Dark Souls / Demon Souls
I think Breath of the Wild is perfect in so many ways, but also incredibly flawed in just as many. Too sparse, its combat and RPG elements too basic, too many fetch quests, no real dungeons... but if they build on it the sequel could be extraordinary.
Odyssey is really good but I haven’t felt compelled to finish it. Think I am on the world after the New York one? Don’t even remember what it is.

Breath of the Wild was amazing. Odyssey just made me want to play Galaxy.
Xenoblade's world traversal kind of ruins it for me. I like playing the game, I even like the 2anime4u characters but getting around the world sucks :(

I bought one of those alarm clocks that lights up your whole fucking room with some fake ass sunlight. Works wonders when you gotta get up early and while it's still dark, was surprised at just how much easier it was to get up. But it makes sense I suppose.

Mario Odyssey is really well done but gets lost in its own grandiose self celebrations and some levels are just straight up boring, and also the padding ruins the pace and overwhelms the player with a real sense of repetitiveness as you keep doing the same chores over and over to grind for moons and coins. It’s a great game but for me both the Galaxies and 64 still rule supreme.
