By Stern Go To PostThaddeus Young got to a slightly above average level in his second year and then just never improved from that point on for the rest of his career. That guy had no trajectory.like.... what has ingram actually got better at? lol
If Ingram does not improve at all between now and two years from now, I’ll gift you a Steam game or some shit.
what's absurd to anyone watching is how he can have that kind of size but still be largely unable to separate from anyone. people gave russell shit for his athleticism nonstop, but ingram's got the same issues with a giant frame that he still has no idea how to use - outside of keeping the ball above his head while he stumbles over people towards the general direction of the rim.
you can't even really say he's made significant gains as a shooter because he's only shooting bad shots less lol. dude can't hit FTs when other young players are getting tossed out of games begging for calls that he gets from just showing up. and even after that you can't even say he's great with the ball because until last month he was floating right next to a 1:1 ast:to ratio
if he gets better i'll stop hating but being stuck with west coast games, dude doesn't get nearly enough shit when damn near everyone else in the organization has taken shots they don't deserve

This is how it’s obvious you’re trolling. Hasn’t become a better shooter. Lmfao. You got Kabro on the first cast doe!

20/7.6/5.6 on 39% shooting
5 W, 5 L
Meanwhile Tobias has been p good
It's a shame Tobias and Dipo took so long to develop that the magic had to give up

True, I think it was the emotions from trading the Clips' first homegrown superstar. They're more fun to watch for sure. Not gonna lie, I am rooting for the Pistons to keep losing...

I think that's cause his coaches kept playing Tobias at the 4. He's more a 3...
By s y Go To PostSVG wasn't coaching when Tobias and Dipo were in Orlando Dr. Adam.

Another triple dub for Randle. Not sure if Magic should let him walk.
Really hope we retain him on a Decent contract like with Clarkson's.

Every time the Wolves might be good, Ricky Rubio tears an ACL, Kevin Love breaks a hand, Jimmy Butler goes down.
I guess it's good that the sun will swallow Earth eventually.
I guess it's good that the sun will swallow Earth eventually.
I want to say it's amazing Jimmy Butler didn't tear an ACL on his injury. Not only did he plant wrong and someone collapse on his leg, the knee actually stress buckled... like that is automatic in the NFL when trying to tell if a serious knee injury occurred. He must have horseshoes in his locker.
EDIT: Now the doctors might be coy or something, but no reason to hold off on that diagnosis.

Meniscus for Butler.
They're not going to make the playoff. Probably won't even finish .500. I guess there's always next year.

he's still atrocious at the ft line too.

baby draymond is clearly the blueprint
By The Frankman Go To PostI mean he still has some sort of knee injury; we don't know what it is.
If he doesn't get it repaired, he's fucking stupid. They're not making the playoffs if he misses four weeks anyway.

The Wolves are 2-4 without Butler this year. They were housed in all of those losses. One win was versus Toronto, playing their third game in three cities in four nights. The other win was against the Clippers missing four starters.
I guess 2019 is the year to end the playoff drought. Feels bad.

An MRI taken Saturday afternoon on Jimmy Butler's right knee revealed a meniscal injury.
The team did not reveal any other details on the injury and did not specify the severity. If he has a tear in his meniscus, he's likely looking at around 6-8 weeks, but it's possible that's not the case. If he only needs arthroscopic surgery, it may be closer to 3-6 weeks. It's worth a mention that Butler's right knee was the same knee that kept him out a week in the first half of the season.
By DY_nasty Go To Postmaybe wiggins steps upWhen Butler was out in January, Wigs averaged 26 a game. He'll be much more comfortable and have a clearer role. It's his defense and the dudes behind him on the depth chart that make the team fall off a cliff. They're about to have to run out Marcus Georges-Hunt (who the fuck?) 30 minutes a night.
By Adam Go To PostIf you repair it, he comes back later. If you remove either, it's sooner.Isn't that the Brandon Roy conundrum all over again?

By domino Go To PostRepair that shit why even question it.Because if he rushes back, maybe they still squeak in the playoffs. But it ain't worth it. Repair the meniscus, play the young guys, and see what's what for next year.

Repair it Jimmy, don't pull a fucking Brandon Roy please. I'm adamant Roy plays past the age of 30 if he had repaired his meniscus tears from day 1.

edit: how adamant can you be without being a doctor tho?
No, don't think so. He never had microfracture surgery or tendon instabillity. All of his issues can be traced to consistently opting to remove his torn meniscus. He did it 3x including once in college iirc.
Roy also had injections for a bothersome heel but that was his rookie year.

He did it 3x including once in college iirc.wow. Just did a google search on how many meniscus there are the knee. Dude removed 3 of 4. Yikes.
I don't know how long one necessarily has but I imagine removing the shock absorbers between two joints has its limits.

By Random Ass Username Go To PostI don't know how long one necessarily has but I imagine removing the shock absorbers between two joints has its limits.yea exactly. Otherwise structurally all of his tendons and such around the knee never tore.
Totally OT, but Duke and Cuse are currently 0-19 on 3s midway through the second half. The one college game I get talked into watching all season and the halftime score was like 25-15. -_-
By diehard Go To Postjust when your feeling good DY is there to knock you down a peg
next he'll be telling me that Mitchell will just be Monta Ellis with defense
Mitchell always reminded me of Eric Gordon before the injury.
Do we have details what the surgery will do? They didn't claim a tear of the meniscus, and sometime you can't even repair it because it's properly destroyed and you can only take it out.
By knux-future Go To Posthe's getting it removed? No one knows.
