By The Frankman Go To PostSo I just got home… at what point exactly is LeBron going to turn it on and the Heat will turn into the best defensive team of all time? Like… I want to immortalize the moment when LeBron says "I was just playing, yo" and the Cavs win 30 in a row with the best team defense even seen in the sport of basketball. Because, it's all LeBron; once LeBron decides to start playing ALL the issues disappear. This bad D and team rotations you see, it's not the team. It's really LeBron hasn't decided to turn it on yet.in like 2013?
At least that's what people keep saying to me… I mean I dunno.
By blackace Go To Postin like 2013?Is this the 2013 roster? Because if that is my bad, I'll shut up.
Of course, it's because this is the second night of a back to back. I hope Diallo takes all of Cunningham's minutes going forward.
By The Frankman Go To PostIs this the 2013 roster? Because if that is my bad, I'll shut up.Just saying he isn't on the Heat anymore
By s y Go To PostWarriors better pray they don't face Denver in the first round.
David West will be back though
GSW can't shoot 3's lately.
Rubio career high 34 points. Great wins since Gobert came back, i'd like to say its all him and not that we are streaking as shit from 3 and are on a hot streak.

This thing where the Cavs are like "we can't go hard in trades because Lebron won't commit to us" is insanity. If you're the Cleveland freaking Cavaliers, this is it for you. Your team has never mattered before, and who knows if/when it will again. What's certain is that your franchise is never again going to have a home town guy who's arguably the best player of all time leading you to finals after finals. Letting that slip through your fingers over ego, or the fear of mediocrity (not even being bad, they'll still have an all star or two) without picks for 2-3 years if Lebron walks is mind-numbingly stupid. There's no decision to be made here. Make some damn trades.
Because after tonight, who isn't thinking Lebron's pretty much a Rocket (or maybea Spur) right now?

And to a certain extent, you're right. They may never be this good. But ruining your franchise and plummeting to the depths of tank hell is very hard to come back from, ever.

They were gonna end up in tank hell regardless.
No one is ever going to purposely go to Cleveland, and if somehow they don’t waste their picks on Anthony Bennet caliber players, they have a very short window to win it all because that player is most likely leaving after his rookie contract. It was all or nothing during the LeBron era and they chose nothing because for some reason they think they’ll be higher than a 14th seed for the rest of their existence.

The Brooklyn pick they're so desperate to hold on to right now only has the 8th best odds at winning the lottery and it's not like they've drafted well the past few years. With Dan Gilbert taking over their basketball ops, who would even trust them to build through the draft?

God damn Gerald Green came back playing with anger at everyone not in a Rockets uni. Like... that looked like the Green I saw in Phoenix that one year with Goran Dragic... except he didn't have that anger. You gotta have 1-2 of those guys on your bench on a top team.
Toronto announcers calling VanVleet a star and saying he reminds them of Damon Stoudamire.
Send halp
I know that and you know that. But the whole rationale for their hanging on to their picks in the first place is that they think they can draft well, so maybe they don't know that.

Casey out here saving fans' lives.
Right? Like what does it matter if they put up 50 when they're giving up almost as much?

And I think this game can be summed up by the fact that Lillard and CJ are a combined 11-37. The Celtics guards have like 22 pts. This most definitely isn't being lost due to shoddy guard defense.

So are the Celtics, but that doesn't mean you can just wish them away.
