Any sane adult has.
Multiple sources who’ve been briefed on the case and are familiar with the material obtained by feds told Yahoo Sports that the impact on the sport will be substantial and relentless. Sitting under protective order right now are the fruits of 330 days of monitoring activity by the feds, which one assistant US Attorney noted Thursday was “a voluminous amount of material.” That includes wiretaps from 4,000 intercepted calls and thousands of documents and bank records obtained from raids and confiscated computers, including those from notorious NBA agent Andy Miller.
Among the documents expected to be in the federal government’s protection are the bank records of Miller, who bankrolled middle man, Christian Dawkins, who is at the center of two of the cases.oh shit, Andy Miller lost his license to be an NBA agent just a few months ago, too.
“If the NCAA is going to get Andy Miller’s bank records, God bless them, I don’t know what they’re going to do,” said another source with direct knowledge of the situation, chuckling at the thought. “You are better off changing the rules. The crazy part of this business is none of the kids are free.”

Hopefully this forces the NBA to abolish the draft eligibility rule because at this point even having it is making them complicit in all of this.
I await the day when it's normal to sign a teenager, assign them to your D-League team for a couple years and actually develop them.
We're moving there since every team owns a D-League squad now.

I have never understood why people watch college sports, that shit is just weird to me. Same as going to your local rec center and watching people play

Similar to how it is everywhere else, the only issue with this is the shit fights over signing 14/15 year olds.
I would expect the NBA to want nothing to do with signing children and there will be a draft if you're 18+ and then they can go back and forth between D-League for development as you say. I think you could almost expand to a third round if this was the case.

By RobNBanks Go To PostI have never understood why people watch college sports, that shit is just weird to me. Same as going to your local rec center and watching people playWith you. The only times I've seen any college sports in person were when I was assigned to cover the games in college. Most college basketball games are excruciating to sit through. (NCAA baseball is even worse.)
The only reason I watched college hoops was to see guys who would end up in the NBA or potentially imports in the Australian league when I was covering it. It's really just trash for entertainment purposes
By pilonv1 Go To PostSimilar to how it is everywhere else, the only issue with this is the shit fights over signing 14/15 year olds.Yeah, I dont' want to see the NBA involved in signing 14/15 year olds. Or younger. The only sport i know of it happening is soccer where some clubs have development squads.

By pilonv1 Go To PostSimilar to how it is everywhere else, the only issue with this is the shit fights over signing 14/15 year olds.Definitely in favor of them having to be out of high school. But if you're 18, you shouldn't be forced to go to college for a year (or two, if Silver has his way). You could lose earning potential by getting hurt, have your development hurt by system/coach, weird stuff can happen. NBA teams should be signing these kids to the D-League and developing them themselves. Make it like baseball.

These kids should be going to the D-Leage over college if they want to earn a living.
Even if it was a D-League draft 18+ kids that bound them to the D-League team for 2 years then they're eligible for the NBA draft.
(The 2 year figure comes form the fact that it looks like Silver wants the minimum NBA age to be 20).
Honestly most people shouldn't even be entering college right outta high school imo. I mean I wouldn't force this but it'd do well for everyone to basically be on some 1-2 year work (or sports training) program overseas. Get some perspective. America so damn myopic and think we're the only ones that exist or we have the only ways to go about things.
It's always hilarious when I talk to other sports fans and they tell me that college basketball is only incarnation of the sport they can tolerate. Of course they're full of shit and don't actually watch college basketball but they always tell me that NBA players are lazy entitled and lack "passion" whatever the fuck that means. It's dog whistly AF.
I imagine being a NBA wife just smacks of like looking the other way on so much shit. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that. Just gimme money and I'll stay at home tending bar.

Every time I watch these shows I just think about how boring that looks. So much dope shit to do, eat, try, drink especially with money in a place like LA. They busy with drama. I'd get fat. For once in my life.
By blackace Go To PostI mean Pop wasn't letting wives on the planes either and Tony Parker still smashed Brent's wifeI meant like even at bars, hotels, and elevators from the lobby. You're probably learning way more about people's sex lives on the team than you needed to, not even just your own mess.

Yep Yep..... Orlando fucked up
The Wolves invited Sam Cassell and Latrell Sprewell to Flip Saunders night and that really pisses me off. Those dudes cost Flip his job in 2005.
