I remember when I thought the 8 seed was just going to be which of the 8 teams already locked in is going to suck the most and not feel like tanking. Now the Jazz want to be a great team again, the Clippers don't want to actually rebuild, Portland, New Orleans, and Denver all look to be steadily improving, and there is 4 losses between the 3rd and 10th seed now.

I hate to say it, but you look at places like the Pelicans section on Tigerdroppings, that has a number of season ticket holders, and I think for certain people, there are certain characteristics about Gentry that don't sit well with them. Not of the coaching variety either. Of the physical traits nature. Same thing happened with Monty.
I've been skeptical of the guy, still am on some things, but the team just suffered a demoralizing injury and within a pretty short amount of time has managed to win three in a row. In a fairly dominating fashion as well. That shit makes me mad.

That's fair enough psy, i can't say that i'm an expert on that subject and i don't want to step on anyone's toes. The thing is that she's american born and raised and i've heard her and her familys' stories. I lived there with her for an extended period of time and saw it happen in first person to her and the kids. Things i never saw happening here nor did i ever hear it happen to anyone. Over here it's very far from a paradise, i wouldn't even say that there are less racists but we have checks and balances that actually work and nowhere near the problems with things like the police for example. We made the conscious decision to raise the kids here because we both felt that it would be better for them.
But let's leave that and go back to ball talk.

TigerDroppings is complete shit and it's only worth going there if you want to get mad about something. PelicansReport isn't far behind. People in the arena boo'd Asik all the time, too. Enough to make it notable when he was cheered for a good play. Even AD and Cousins were getting boo'd recently. Jrue gets it, too.
Then the crowd cheers uncontrollably for players like Lance Stephenson, Tyreke Evans, and Jordan Crawford.
The enjoyment of going to games for me is lessening due to a crowd that is more prone to jeering than cheering. I don't drive over an hour each way to put up with that shit.
