Golbert's defensive presence at the rim is such a huge deterrent cause nobody wants to get their shit blocked by him.
By reilo Go To PostOver the last 4 quarters, Damian has 63pts. This is nice.He gets to the line even when he's clearly not touched. Yeah, must be nice.
By Jeff-DSA Go To PostHe gets to the line even when he's clearly not touched. Yeah, must be nice. You can't bump dudes mid-air and obstruct their landing zone, dude. Those 2 fouls on Mitchell were legit.
By rvy Go To Postthis picture pleases me greatly.
Deeply.
I feel alive.
When the current coach of another team is embarrassed to be there......

By reilo Go To PostYou can't bump dudes mid-air and obstruct their landing zone, dude. Those 2 fouls on Mitchell were legit.Except that he took four steps without dribbling on that second one. And the foul on Crowder was 100% untouched.
By Jeff-DSA Go To PostExcept that he took four steps without dribbling on that second one. And the foul on Crowder was 100% untouched.I don't what bullshit ass replays the Jazz are showing you, but Crowder hit him on the wrist on the follow-through.
By DY_nasty Go To Posttold you frank was better as an off guard :o
Didn't see the game but I got receipts saying he reminded me of Batum.......
Also at the barber shop dudes were debating wtf is up with Mudiay's lips at the post game interview. lol
By DY_nasty Go To PostLOL
vulgar. if they had some draymond sprinkled in there i might be dead
By unknown Go To Postwhat do yo think about jeff horn?I don't like his love affair with Jarret Jack (which is hopefully over) and his rotations in general seem to be antithetical to the GM's mission statement but I'm not into evaluating coaches based on what they get out of unbalanced trash rosters. For that reason and the fact that we run through coaches way too quickly in general I say bring him back next year.
I can't watch the game but those two videos of fouls on Lillard on ESPN.com are weak af. Harden type calls
By IWMTB19 Go To PostHow do you get called for a foul on a perfect contest D:http://videorulebook.nba.com/archive/defensive-foul-defensive-player-makes-illegal-contact-to-shooters-wrist-after-release/
Poor Crowder :(
He clearly hits his wrist, wtf is with y'all
You guys are talking like there's a foot of separation there but he clearly hits part of his wrist/hand during the follow through

By reilo Go To PostHe clearly hits his wrist, wtf is with y'allHe didnt. I don't know what you are seeing. At most Lillard created some contact with his finger tips, even if it was the wrist it would be incidental because crowder never moved his hand into him. That link you posted literally says it's not a foul.
By reilo Go To PostHe clearly hits his wrist, wtf is with y'allUhh, Lillard initiates the hand contact. Crowder was legally contesting with his arm up.

if the contact prevents the shooter from following-thru naturally. You gotta let the shooter follow all the way through before he finishes his release.
By giririsss Go To PostUhh, Lillard initiates the hand contact. Crowder was legally contesting with his arm up.You gotta let the follow through happen entirely. There's no "Lillard initiated" lol wth
The refs could've let the call go (because he still made the shot), but in real time it's not shocking they called it because by the most technical details of the rule that's a foul. Incidental contact is like when the motion of the shot is in retreat, that's clearly at its apex.
By reilo Go To PostYou gotta let the follow through happen entirely. There's no "Lillard initiated" lol wthUhh, sure there is. Much akin to how they started to call the foul on the jump shooter, if he kicked his legs out and hit the defender, trying to draw a foul.
Crowders contest was 100% legal. If there wasn't enough space for Lillard to get his jumper off, thats on him, not Crowder. Crowder played good defense.
Now, if Crowder had come flying out of no where and CLOSED space. Sure.
You also left this part out
if the contact prevents the shooter from following-thru naturally. If however, incidental contact occurs AFTER the shooter has been given sufficient room to follow-thru, no foul call will be made.
LIllard finished his motion naturally. (Though that's a weird statement, because the example video would show that it possibly hindered? but the contact there was so far towards the end of Lillards follow through...)
You'll also note in the example vido provided, z-bo closes out the space.
You're absolutely wrong, but alright. This has nothing to do with closing space or whatever, this is about giving space (wtf? where he started his shot has nothing to do with this, what are you on?) for them to follow through. His hand wasn't in retreat when contact was made, it was still on its apex.

But ok.

Donovan has really show the ability to play PG, but he has really struggled handling traps. I'm hoping its just an effect of him never playing point guard before.

I think this is why playing alongside Rubio is a huge benefit for him, he needs an escape right now for when there's extra pressure. Think it will come to him eventually.

back to back career highs for Jingles. I don't really like these uniforms but apparently they turn us into a good team so ...
WE'RE BACK TO .500
Despite that fucking horrible 20 game stretch where Mitchell was our entire team and there was absolutely nothing else going on.

im about 90% sure i'll be calling Crowder a bum sometime this season but if the Jazz were right and Snyder can get Jae back to what he was in Boston, that was a great move.
