By pilonv1 Go To PostFrank Mason is greatthing about that pap pick is that he wasn't even supposed to go in the 1st round at all
Was going to say the Kings really fucked up that Papagianis pick but
Not like many of the picks below would have helped either.
even among all those busts, he was still regarded as obviously worse than those guys

Yeah it was a terrible pick at the time, they could have got him where they picked Skal.
Outside of the top 10 that draft is shaping up to be a disaster
By diehard Go To PostI still don't understand why we got Crowder.Because you need shooting.
Hope he finds his form again.
By pilonv1 Go To PostYeah it was a terrible pick at the time, they could have got him where they picked Skal.people shit on brogdon purely because he was a UVA sr

which i absolutely get because UVA basketball is satan's halftime show - but if UVA was a blue blood then brogdon would've gone in the lotto
By giririsss Go To PostBecause you need shooting. When i think of a shooter, i think of crowder

By diehard Go To PostCrowder had 1 season shooting above 33% from three.Under Stevens, correct?
Snyder is super smart like Stevens, so that's the belief.
I'm not saying it's a great idea. But ...
By diehard Go To PostI still don't understand why we got Crowder.Probably to play some defense and be a player that isn't always an injury risk. He'll be fine in our system. I think Snyder will use him well.

Damn, Siakam should've been a lotto pick in that draft and his range is like 1 foot.
If we strike out in free agency, the entire management team should get their walking papers that day.
We have now given up multiple legit assets for a prayer of pulling off a historical coup in free agency. A #2 overall pick who was killing it this year before he got hurt, and a 2nd rounder who would be a top 15 (top 10?) pick in his year if we did a redraft. All for a chance, not a guarantee, of getting two max guys at once. If we fail on that front, dump them all.

everyone knew Magic's entire plan all along was "we're in L.A.!" and not actually smart moves and drafting.
Might work though.
Lonzo was killing it? really? The Lakers didn't have a second round pick last year.

Lonzo isn't an asset we gave up.
D-Lo was killing it for the Nets before his injury.

They've already re-framed it as 2018 or 2019 free agency. They're not going anywhere for couple seasons, barring a huge scandal.
Oh i just thought you were planning for the future and realizing Lebron isn't coming there with Lonzo still around, my bad.
how much of a made man is pat riley anyways?
go out and get your money, wade - but don't forget where you belong
got his ass again, and probably got wade thanking him for it

I would actually much rather have Kawhi and Klay in a year than 34 year old LeBron and PG this summer. So we didn't actually need to clear salary for two guys this year.
Being able to go over the cap to sign Randle is the one benefit of trying to make a splash this year. Not sure how it would work if we gave him a one year deal or something... would we still have his Bird rights in 2019?

I have this sickening feeling that Hardaway and Beasley are gonna go ham for the rest of the season and win us several games.
I don't want nair nudda win...

in an effort to repair their relationship, Magic wanted to make things right by allowing IT to play with his team, 26 years later.
Ball and IT2 can work together tho. If IT2 isn't broken beyond repair... he can play 2 on O and Ball can cover the 2 on D

I just remembered Dante Exum will sign a new deal this offseason, dude has had such a tough go during his first 4 seasons.

KCP goes to the bench that way too. Our D suffers though

He's going to be back in 4-6 weeks and he's going to have no fucks to give in pursuit of that new contract.
Hopefully he will look like an NBA player in the last 15 games of the season.
By livefromkyoto Go To Post>_>Hardaways fucked our draft position with late season "heroics" before, Beasley single handedly won us a game in fucking Boston. It's a legitimate concern.

Supercool's been blocked at the rim three times so far and it's only the first quarter. I think you might be okay.
